Korean Travel Diary 2008-11-0815:15 arrived early in the morning. The tour guide took us to the seaside to taste the abalone porridge here. Abalone has been a tribute of the king since ancient times, with high nutritional value and special effects on restoring liver function. Jeju sea area is rough and not suitable for raising abalone, so the abalone produced here is naturally grown, which is the most expensive among shellfish and seafood. After breakfast, the first scenic spot we visited was Tiandiyuan Waterfall. The source of heaven and earth means "the source of heaven and earth", which is named after the legendary seven fairies who wait on the jade emperor come here to bathe and wander at night. As beautiful as the white feathers of the Seven Fairies, the Seven Fairies Festival is held here in May of even years. And this is also the place where the hero and heroine fall in love and leave each other in Dae Jang Geum.

Then we went to Chengshan Sunrise Peak. The mountains here are not as high and spectacular as those in China, but they are also beautiful. The sea breeze is blowing gently, and the grass is lush, which makes people feel very comfortable.

After going down the mountain, the tour guide took us to a shop and tasted the special dessert of Jeju-fruity chocolate. This kind of chocolate is made of 100% pure natural fruit juice, which won't cause toothache. I tasted a piece and thought it was delicious, so I bought several boxes. Then I figured it out, it's so expensive! A box is more than 80 yuan.

It's nearly noon after visiting the sunrise peak, and the tour guide took us to the folk village to taste seaweed rice. Kimbap consists of lettuce leaves wrapped in barbecue slices, pickles, rice and soy sauce. . . . Wrap it in small squares and eat it in one bite. After a little stuttering, the juice will flow out. Because barbecue slices and other dishes can be added indefinitely, we are all full.

After lunch, we visited the folk village. In the past, this village was dominated by women, so the status of men was very high. Boys have cradles to sit in when they are young, but girls don't. When adults go to work in the fields, they will take the boy with them because they are afraid that he will be bitten by snakes at home. But the girls were left unattended at home, and their death didn't matter to them. However, the people in this village are very simple and poor, but if there is no rice to fill their stomachs, they can go to any restaurant for dinner and everyone will welcome him. Until now, this village is still inhabited.

The next scenic spot is "Wang Fu Cliff", which originated from a touching legend. Once upon a time, a farmer went fishing in the sea, but unfortunately he was caught in a big storm, so he never came back. His wife watched the distance by the sea day and night, waiting for him to come back. Year after year, my wife became a fossil (that is, "Wang Fu Cliff"). The god was moved by the woman's true feelings and used magic to make her husband's body surface and lie beside her. Near the cliff in Wang Fu, there are many statues of land lords. The tour guide said that people in Jeju trusted the landowner the most, because there was a woman who couldn't give birth to a boy before. As a result, after begging the land Lord, a boy was born the next year. Legend has it that touching the landlord's right hand can make you rich, touching your stomach can make you healthy, touching your ears can make you a girl, and touching your nose can make you a boy.
