About transportation: It is not convenient to take the high-speed train from Shunde to Shaoguan, because you have to take the high-speed train in Panyu or Guangzhou North, and you have to take the No.22 bus to get to the city after getting off the high-speed train. If you are not in a hurry, there is no need! I suggest you take the train from Foshan Railway Station at 7: 40 in the morning, arrive in Shaoguan at about 10: 30, and go directly to Shaoguan East Station, downtown, which is very convenient.

2. Accommodation: You'd better book a room before coming to Shaoguan. If you have enough money, you can stay in the convenient and comfortable Jinshao Hotel. 230 yuan can stay for one night (including double breakfast), just on Jiefang Road in the city center (take bus No.9 at Shaoguan East Station). After putting your luggage away, you can visit the pedestrian street in Shaoguan. There are several snacks recommended in Shaoguan Pedestrian Street, which will be introduced later. If you think Jinshao Hotel is expensive, you can go to Xinhua Hotel a little farther away (about 150- 100 yuan a night). You can also take bus No.9, get off at the industrial station and walk 300 meters. If you don't soak in hot springs and want to get close to nature, you can go to Nanling National Forest Park. If you want to play with water, you can go to Naiyuan Nanshui Lake.
