The first day

Xiangjiang River Scenic Belt Tianxin Pavilion Baisha Well

In the morning we went to Changsha’s Mother River Xiangjiang River, feel the beautiful scenery of rippling blue waves and rippling jade. You can take a leisurely walk along the Yangtze River Scenic Belt. When you come to a city, you should appreciate its beauty and relaxation. You can eat Changsha specialty snacks at noon. They are not expensive and have many varieties. In the afternoon, we came to Tianxin Pavilion, the symbol of the ancient city of Changsha. Climbing up Tianxin Pavilion, you can overlook Changsha City and have a panoramic view of the beautiful scenery formed. There is a famous spring in the south of the Yangtze River, Mr. Tianxin, and that is the Baisha Ancient Well. Baisha Ancient Well is known as "the first spring in Changsha". The spring water is clear and sweet, and now many citizens go to Baisha Ancient Well to get water. In the evening, you can come to Pozi Street, which is a gathering place for delicious food, especially the famous Fire Palace, which specializes in various Hunan dishes and snacks. Many tourists come here.

1. Xiangjiang Scenic Belt

The Xiangjiang River, the mother river of Changsha, flows through Changsha for about 25 kilometers, forming a scenic belt along the Changsha River.

The next day

Jia Yi’s former residence on Taiping Street in Juzizhou

The next morning, we first set off to visit Juzizhou to experience the hometown feelings described by the chairman . Orange Island is a small strip-shaped island in the water, where a huge portrait of young Mao Zedong stands for easy photography. Next, we came to Taiping Street, which is the epitome of "ancient Changsha" and a gathering place for delicious food. Stroll around the ancient streets and appreciate Changsha’s thousands of years of historical changes. In addition, you can also have lunch at Taiping Street. Whether it’s the spicy Hunan cuisine or the delicious specialty snacks here, I believe it will satisfy the taste of your tongue.

After lunch, in the afternoon, we can visit the nearby Jia Yi’s former residence, which is a free attraction. We just need to get our IDs and get our tickets. The former residence was built in memory of Jia Yi, a famous politician in the Western Han Dynasty. Many traces of Jia Yi's life can still be seen in his former residence.

In Orange Island, you can see “all the mountains are red and all the forests are dyed”. This is a magnificent scene written by President Mao Zedong. It is beautiful and peaceful and is deeply loved by the president.

3. Jia Yi’s former residence
