Hongshi Lake is located in the upstream of Hongshi Hydropower Station dam. Hongshi Lake, with a total length of 38 kilometers, has continuous mountains and dense forests on the west bank, surrounded by natural stone peaks such as Jiguan Lazi Peak beside the lake, Camel Lazi Peak in the middle and Yingbi Peak in the distance. The water collection area of the lake is 20,300 square kilometers, and the lake is rippling all year round. In the snowy and white winter, white fog can still rise and form a strange landscape. Gaoxing Lake Scenic Area is located in the northeast of the upper reaches of Hongshi Lake. It belongs to the fork of Hongshi Lake. Changda Highway and Bai Yan Railway both pass through here, making it a tourist attraction that goes hand in hand with land and water. Gaoxing Lake covers an area of 75 hectares, with a water depth of 32 meters and an average water depth of 7.8 meters. There are many ancient legends about the islands in the lake and the surrounding peaks.
