Self-driving travel from Beijing to Tibet is quite a long distance. If you travel alone, it is still very hard. 2. The speed limit on the Sichuan-Tibet Line is strict. There are multiple checkpoints along the way. There are time limits for passing between the two checkpoints based on mileage. Pay attention to controlling the speed. When you see a checkpoint, you must take the initiative to hold the certificate and the speed limit. Quick order to get inspected.

3. The Sichuan-Tibet Line is not suitable for driving at night. You must not drive at night as it is very dangerous.

4. When taking the Sichuan-Tibet line, you will definitely encounter some cars like Land Cruiser with Sichuan A license plate driving crazy. Don’t conflict with these people because of driving. Basically, they are not Chengdu people but locals who run chartered cars and carpooling businesses. They run online all day long and are very familiar with the road conditions. Forced overtaking and traffic jams are very common.

5. Don’t sleep in the car when taking the Qinghai-Tibet Line. Stop as little as possible on the section from Amdo to Golmud. It is best to pass it within one day and not stay overnight on this section of the road.

6. You must bring your ID card, driver’s license, and driving license. If you want to go to Rongbuk Temple, you must also bring your border permit.

7. It is best to wear anti-skid chains. You must know that even in summer, there may be heavy snowfall at various snow mountain passes.
