How to get to Lijiang from Lhasa?

Take the Yunnan-Tibet Highway, Lhasa-Linzhi-Basu-Yanjing-Deqin-Zhongdian (Shangri-La)-Lijiang, more than 2,000 kilometers. If you have more time, you can take a long-distance bus and walk in sections. If you are in a hurry, you can find someone to carpool in Lhasa. Accommodation is not cheap all the way. The lowest standard room in peak season 140 is as expensive as 200, and it is often full. It is not very convenient to travel in sections. It is best to charter a car from Lhasa, usually an off-road vehicle (such as Toyota 4500). The price is between 10000- 12000, and the general charge is 3000 yuan per person.
