Maling River Canyon, a national scenic spot, is located in Xingyi City, which is at the junction of Yunnan, Guangxi and Guizhou provinces, with a total area of 344 square kilometers, 334 kilometers northeast of Guiyang and 32 1 km west of Kunming.

From top to bottom is a crack, and from bottom to top is a trench line. Maling River originates from Baiguoling, Wumeng Mountain, and its upper reaches are called Qingshui River, while its middle reaches are called Maling River because there are Mabeizhai and Malingzhai on both sides. In the process of about 100 km from the river to the estuary, the cutting ability is strong, and the Maling River Canyon with a length of 74.8 km is cut on the flat plain at an altitude of 1200 m. Many tributaries on both sides of the river fall behind the mainstream because of the downward cutting speed, forming hundreds of waterfalls with a height exceeding 100 meters and falling into deep valleys. The average width and depth of the canyon are between 200 and 400 meters, with the narrowest part only 50 meters and the deepest part 500 meters. It is rare to be so narrow and so deep. The river water in Cascade District contains a large amount of calcium carbonate, which quickly releases carbon dioxide during the falling process and attaches calcium carbonate to the cliff. As time goes on, calcium carbonate becomes thicker and larger. Therefore, large-scale and magnificent calcified waterfalls are bred on the two walls of the canyon. Only on the cliff of Zhanggu in Tianxing Gallery Scenic Area, there is a calcified waterfall with an area of more than 300,000 square meters, which is intertwined with majestic waterfalls and peaks, forming a very rare and rare landscape. .....
