Brief introduction of Qingju meander
From Zhao Hua to Hechuan, it is the middle reaches of Jialing River, with a straight line distance of only over 200 kilometers, while the river winds 620 kilometers. The Jialing River, which twists and turns, flows to Qingju, but it is blocked by Yanshan Mountains, so it has to turn west, north, south, east and north, and then back to the south of Qingju. It is only 400 meters from the north to the south of Qingju Town. This detour has a 359-degree roundabout, 17.5 kilometers of waterway and a 20-square-kilometer "belly dam". The corner of Jialing River south is Qingju Town; At the bulge of Jialing River is Qushui Town. Qingju is an ancient town with a long history. It was once the seat of Qingju County and Qingju County in the Western Wei Dynasty, and Song Chun moved to Shunqing County to rule here in his early years. During the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty, market towns rose and were named after ancient counties. 1984 hometown. The history of Qushui is not as long as that of Qingju. It was also built during the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty. Because it is located at the place where Qushui River flows into Jialing River, it is called Qushui. Qingju and Qushui are both near Jialing River, with the former in the east and the latter in the west. There is a straight line distance of 6 kilometers between the two towns, but there is no bridge connecting them. The communication between people in these two towns depends on taking a boat. There are two wharves in Qingju Town: the one in the north is called Upper Wharf and the one in the south is called Lower Wharf. The Qing people went to Qushui to catch up and visit relatives. When they went there, they sailed smoothly from the upper pier, and when they came back, they landed at the lower pier, which may have formed the only strange voyage on the Chinese river that "came and went smoothly". Because Jialing River formed a 359°C-shaped bay in Qingju, there was a strange sight of "taking a day by boat and a pack of cigarettes". In the past, transportation was mainly by water, and everything far from Nanchong was transported to Chongqing. Because of the water, the journey from the upper pier to the lower pier 10 is less than half a day away from Qingju. If you want to transport things from Chongqing to Nanchong, this 10 km waterway will take a day by porters-starting from the pier in the morning, staying at the pier at night and staying at the inn last night. Today's Jialing River, water transport has long declined, and the boats on the river are just grasshopper boats fishing, just three or two. I really want to experience the feeling of sailing for a day, but this idea can't be realized. Because of the construction of the power station, the Jialing River has been cut off, and the river water can only flow into the lower pier through the diversion channel and boat way of the upper pier. Nanchong section of Jialing River has been suspended for many years. At present, there are two motor passenger ships operating ferry passenger transport, each departing from Hexi Township in the morning and returning in the afternoon. The fare is one yuan regardless of adults and children. We went to Hexi by boat and asked the boatman to take us back to the dock. Five people received money from 35 yuan, and 20 yuan was their extra income. The boat way has been excavated at the upper pier, the pier disappears, a bridge flies up and the highway passes through the town. The first day, the fourth day and the seventh day of the lunar calendar in Qingju Ancient Town coincide with the first day of February. People from all directions, walking, riding motorcycles, taking cars and, of course, taking boats, crowded the short street with people. There are not many shops and restaurants, but there are several teahouses with low tables and benches. Tea costs one yuan a cup, and many old people drink tea or play long cards here. Instead, traveling businessmen put their goods on narrow streets, supported by a bamboo basket and two low stools. In this way, the streets are narrower and more crowded. Qushui, because it is located on the main road, is full of traffic and horns constantly. Standing on the platform of the ruins of the old city in spring, you can overlook the winding scenery of Jialing River, which comes slowly, changes with the mountain, twists and turns, as if it were an arc drawn at will on the earth. Qingju ancient town is hidden in the valley of the mountain. The old street is like a long corridor, with Jialing River at both ends, green trees and green mountains, which is very quiet and peaceful. In the fields and by the river, rape flowers and bean curd flowers are in full bloom, and the flowers are overflowing, adding a bit of comeliness to the ancient town. The winding landform of Jialing River is like a perfect ending here in Qingju.
Not long ago, Zhao Xun, a UNESCO geopark consultant and professor of the Chinese Academy of Geological Sciences, Chen Anze, a judge of the National Geopark of the Ministry of Land and Resources and deputy director and chief engineer of the National Geological Research Center, and so on 19 well-known domestic experts visited Nanchong and thought that Qingju Quliu was qualified to declare a national geopark.
From the upper pier to the lower pier, walk along the river for one day from the straight line distance of a pack of cigarettes.
