China students studying in Japan want to travel to South Korea. What are the procedures?

1. To apply for a visa, go to the Korean Embassy and Consulate in Japan to apply for a visa. If you have a single or multiple visa, remember that a single visa costs about 4,000 yen, and prepare the materials needed by the embassy to report. The visa can be issued in less than a week.

2. Method without visa

With the transit policy, you can legally stay in South Korea for 30 days. The South Korean government stipulates that all China citizens with Japanese visas can stay in South Korea for 30 days without a visa on their way back to China or on their way to Japan via South Korea.

In this way, when you go back to China on vacation, you can buy a transit ticket from Incheon or Busan, with a gap of about a week in the middle, and use this time to go to South Korea. As long as there are air tickets, the two segments do not need the same airline.

The difference is that visas can go from Japan to South Korea and then back to Japan. But it needs to be handled.

You don't need a visa to cross the border. You must do it when you return to China.
