Travel Diary of Longtoushan
Longtoushan International Tourism Resort is located on the main beam of Micang Mountain at the junction of Shaanxi and Sichuan, within Xiaonanhai Town, Nanzheng County, Hanzhong City, and is part of the Micang Mountain System. According to a friend’s introduction, it is a national AAAA-level scenic spot. The forest coverage rate reaches 96.5%, the annual average temperature is 7.4, and the highest altitude is 2336 meters. It is famous for its strange rocks, sea of ??clouds, colorful forests, and rime. It is known as the "natural oxygen bar" and the "animal and plant gene bank". It is very popular on the Internet and is worth a visit.
Taking advantage of the holiday, I couldn’t wait to rush here with a long-awaited mood. In order to have enough time to play, we stayed at a hotel in Hanzhong City the evening before. The local weather was gloomy. There was light rain in the forecast. It actually started raining in the city around 10 o'clock in the evening, and it got heavier and heavier. Listen. The sound of raindrops outside the window made me feel depressed. I thought to myself, this is too bad. I might not be able to go to Longtoushan tomorrow. I rested for a few hours in the evening. Early the next morning, I finished packing and hurried here. In front of the car outside the hotel, we waited to see if it would rain. Fortunately, the sky was clear. At this time, our dull mood became more active. We excitedly got on the special car bound for Longtou Mountain Scenic Area. The urban area is not very far from Longtoushan Scenic Area, and it takes more than an hour to get there by car. After getting out of the car, I looked around the scenic area. It was still drizzling sporadically under the mountains, and thick fog surrounded the mountains. God can really work against us, repeatedly disturbing our mood for traveling. Once it comes, make peace with it. Let nature take its course, I comforted myself silently in my heart. Fortunately, because someone reserved the tickets in advance, we didn't have to wait long to get them. Seeing that most people were buying raincoats, I also bought one for the convenience of traveling. At 8 o'clock in the morning, following the flow of people, we walked quickly and got on the cable car in the order of the queue. The cable car is 2 kilometers long. Looking through the glass of the cable car, I saw clouds and mist at my feet. The mountains were vaguely shrouded in clouds and mist. After a while, I arrived at the ladder and got off the cable car. My eyes suddenly opened up and my field of vision was much wider.
The next step is to climb the ladder. Looking up, the mountains are covered with clouds and mist, and the mountains are overlapping, making it even more sacred. The ladder is 180 meters high from the top of the mountain. It is the first outdoor sightseeing escalator in the northwest. It is shaped like a swimming dragon. Standing on it, surrounded by clouds and mist, you can see the "69 turns" winding mountain road in Longtou Mountain that looks like flying sleeves. As the escalator continues, Ascending, climbing high and looking far, it is very comfortable. The majestic ladder is divided into three sections with an inclination of more than 50 degrees. Even though it is carrying tourists smoothly, I still feel timid when I stand on the ladder and look down. The experience of carefully taking photos is even more... My heart is hanging in the air. Looking at the precipitous mountain peaks, I thought to myself that the engineering and technical difficulties and risks involved in installing such a ladder are not small. Likewise, it will also consume a lot of manpower and material resources. The clouds and mist ahead are so foggy that you can't see clearly the end of the ladder. It feels like you are breaking through the clouds and mist and going straight up into the sky.
When you reach a high mountain with an altitude of about 2,200 meters, there is a dragon-head cloud stack about 3.5 kilometers long, like a wandering dragon in the clouds, lying across the cliffs. It is said that there is a beautiful story here. According to legend, in ancient times, a green dragon was born in the land of Bashu. It coveted the beauty and richness of Hanzhong and intended to occupy it and become king. Passing through Nanzheng, I was impressed by the majesty of the land of Tianhan and Han Dynasty, so I transformed into a mountain to protect the land of Qin and Ba.
With such a magical story, we headed to the main peak of Longtou Mountain, entered the Longtou Cloud Stack, and started a sightseeing walk. As we walked along the path that was less than two meters wide, we looked down at the cloud stacks. Thick and heavy fog permeated the entire mountain range, and we couldn't see anything clearly. It didn't rain much on Xingxi Mountain. The ancient trees and stone cliffs on the roadside seem to tell the long history of Longtou Mountain, making people stop and stare while walking, listening to the beautiful sound. While appreciating the scenery along the way, some exotic flowers and plants aroused my interest. Some are in bud and ready to bloom, with closed flowers shy of the moon; some are beautiful in the wind and graceful; some are full of vitality and as gentle as jade. On the grass blades and between the petals, crystal dewdrops condense. They are so clean and transparent that even if you put a crystal next to the dewdrops, they will be eclipsed. These plants in various shapes and forms may seem insignificant, but they have a dazzling aura that attracts my attention tightly, making me more nostalgic and passionate about collecting scenery. In this way, I carefully captured the beautiful shadows of the surrounding plants while happily admiring the passing scenery.
The traveling plank road also changes in twists and turns, sometimes creating a thrilling bend, and sometimes changing into a landscape. A strip-shaped boulder was forced out between the two mountains, which was named Dragon's Tooth; between the ravines, there were twists and turns, and tourists jokingly called it "Dragon's Nose". The vivid metaphor adds rich color to this beautiful and moving scenery. The mountain structure of Longtoushan is very unique, with some peaks reaching into the sky. Some mountains are majestic and majestic. The further we go, the more magical the scenery becomes. The wind blows and the clouds disperse, the fog gradually disperses, and the eyes become brighter. The beautiful landscape seems to be opening up, warmly welcoming every guest. The spectacular sea of ??clouds, like the surging rivers and seas, is majestic. They surround each other and move with the wind, appearing before the eyes of tourists. The distant clouds and mists coil around the continuous mountains, disappearing and appearing. The exclamations, laughter and shutter sounds of tourists snapping photos are integrated into this beautiful spectacle. Walking on the plank road, among the sea of ??clouds, it feels like you are in a fairyland on earth.
Unknowingly, we have reached the end of the Cloud Stack, and a section of glass plank road appears in front of us. The designer has created a challenging space for tourists. The shiny glass surface makes the abyss beneath your feet completely transparent. When you lower your head, you can see the trees of the 3 mountain ranges below. Every step is a "thrilling" and heart-pounding experience. Although there is a staff member on the side to guide: "Look forward, don't look down, it's only three to forty meters, so feel free to move forward." But there were still some people who were intimidated and did not dare to look directly. Some people moved with difficulty but screamed. Most tourists walked over in high spirits and overcame this difficulty. Visiting here gives you a real thrilling experience.
Following the plank road, we visited the Painting Rain Terrace, the Wind-Breathing Terrace, the Cloud-Landing Terrace, the Jucui Terrace, and the Snow-Listening Terrace. When we arrived at the Juyuntai, the sun had already risen. Looking around, the wind blew away the fog and appeared in Hanzhong. The gathering clouds were blowing in front of us, revealing the Cangshan Mountains. We could see the Hanzhong plain in the distance, and the clouds rolling in and out up close. The peaks facing each other far away are picturesque, the mountains are undulating, majestic and spectacular. Beautiful scenery as far as the eye can see. Wind and trees, clouds and sea, mountains and roads compose a beautiful piece of music in nature.
Time flies so fast, and it’s time to return in a blink of an eye. We have been playing for more than three hours, but we don't feel tired at all. Along the way, admiring, taking photos, and resting, the whole state of mind can be released to the fullest, which makes people comfortable and relaxed. Although we had already set off to go back down the mountain, we felt a little nostalgic and reluctant to leave. Looking back, we thought about the entire trip today. We basically visited the landscapes that represent the characteristics of Longtou Mountain one by one and took photos to commemorate them. It was quite enjoyable. The harvest is full, it can be said that you come here with joy and return with joy! At around 12 noon, we descended the mountain smoothly, successfully ending the day's journey.
