What is the International Tourism Organization?

International Tourism Organization: refers to a comprehensive international tourism organization whose members come from many countries and work and serve the interests of many countries. International tourism organizations in a broad sense also include those whose work scope involves international tourism affairs.

International Tourism Organization:

1. World Tourism Organization: an intergovernmental international organization of the United Nations system and a major international organization in the field of tourism;

2. World Federation of Travel Agency Associations: one of the largest non-governmental international tourism organizations. The official working languages of the Association are English, Spanish and French;

3. World Association of Travel Agencies: International Tourism Organization, founded in1949;

4. International Association of Tourism Science Experts: established in Rome on May 195 1, with its headquarters in Bern, Switzerland;

5. International Tourism Union: a joint organization of tourism associations, established in Geneva, Switzerland,1898;

6. American Hotel and Motel Association: the largest and oldest professional organization in the American hotel industry and related industries;

7. European Tourism Commission: a non-profit organization composed of 32 members of the European National Tourism Administration, aiming at promoting European tourism for China tourists;

8. World Tourism Vocational Training Association: 1969 was established in Como, Italy.
