Changchang Grassland is 60 kilometers away from Guiyang, the provincial capital, and can be reached by car in an hour. The beautiful natural scenery of the grasslands, the ancient Mongolian customs, the unique way of life, the long history and culture, and the pleasant summer climate not only provide endless magnificence, but also the dynamic beauty of watching cattle and sheep on the grass. Before going to Guizhou, I made a lot of travel strategies, from specific route planning to financial budget.

I didn’t know until I arrived in Guizhou. I ignored one of the most fatal problems: - the weather!

Like a child's face, the weather in Guizhou changes every time it changes, and my heart goes cold.

But luckily, on the third day after arriving in Guiyang, I went to a place called Longli Prairie.

It doesn’t get any better than this. Looking at the mountains in the distance and the grasslands in the mountains, I thought to myself, get closer, get closer, I will climb over the mountain in front of me and go to another mountain, tirelessly.

I also like the mountains in Zhangjiajie very much, but the mountains here and the mountains in Zhangjiajie give me two completely opposite feelings.

Looking at the plains from a distance, they look like mountains up close.

Grassland in the hills

Look carefully, at the other end of the grassland, there are many, many continuous hills.

I have never experienced anything like this.

Look at the scenery in front of you. Not true at all. I think it was in a painting. As they often say in TV dramas

I couldn’t believe my eyes.

This is a photo that I like very much, as if I can touch the sky with my hands. I stubbornly believe that it is the best proof of the combination of prosperity and tranquility.

When we were leaving, some aunties in national costumes sat on horseback and asked us if we wanted to ride a horse. It was late that day and they were getting ready to go home.

On the way from Longli County to Caiyuan Township, I stared out the window for fear of missing a little bit of the scenery. The mountain road is very rough. The higher the car goes, the better the air is and the colder it feels. I even felt ringing in my ears. I told my friends that I don’t get altitude sickness. Everyone in the car laughed.

I know that the most shocking thing here is the windmill, which also sets off its beauty. I lingered in it, imagining myself falling into a fairyland, standing still and unwilling to leave. If I go there next time, I want to choose the most satisfactory weather and take a good walk. It would be better if I could stay there for a while.

Because it was early September, the grass on the grassland began to turn yellow, and a small group of cattle and sheep were grazing with their heads down.

This seemingly ancient drum tower is an observation deck. I stayed up there for half an hour because it was so beautiful and the air was so fresh. Blowing the cool wind and admiring the beautiful scenery in the distance, every nerve relaxed, and the fatigue of two months was really washed away.

A little girl said excitedly to her father:

"Dad, this is so beautiful. If only we could live here forever."

I smiled knowingly, remembering that my dad said that no matter where I am, he won't worry about me not being used to it, because I am a carefree person. If I have such an opportunity to go to Longli Prairie again, I think I will definitely stay there for a few days.

Transportation Guide:

You can take a bus from Guiyang Aircraft Dam to Longli, which costs 11 yuan for Santana, 10 yuan for Iveco, and 9 yuan for Iveco. After arriving in Longli County, there is a special bus to the grassland, and the fare is about 100 yuan.
