Hulunbei Prairie Information

The Hulunbuir Prairie is located in the northeastern part of Inner Mongolia. It is named after Hulun Lake and Bell Lake, with a total area of ??149 million acres. The Mongolian meaning of Hulun means "otter", and the Mongolian name of Beier means "male otter", because in the past, otters were abundant in these two lakes.

This is the best-preserved grassland in my country, with abundant water and grass, and is known as the "Kingdom of Pasture".

This is a green and pure land without any pollution. The meat, milk, leather, wool and other livestock products produced are highly favored by domestic and foreign consumers. Even forage is exported to Japan and other countries in large quantities.

There are shuttle buses to the prairie from Hulunbuir City Railway Station and long-distance bus station, which takes about 1.5 hours by car. There is a tourist bus from Hailar City to the grassland, which takes an hour's drive.

Hulun Buir Grassland is one of the three most famous grasslands in the world. It has a vast territory. The scenery is beautiful, the water and grass are abundant, more than 3,000 criss-crossing rivers, and more than 500 dotted lakes form a gorgeous picture that extends to the Daxinganling Mountains with surging pine waves.

The 31 ethnic minorities, with their own unique customs, precious historical relics, and endless aftertaste of local flavor, add color to the beautiful and rich Hulunbuir.

The climate here in summer is pleasant and the air is clean, making it a summer resort; in winter, it is covered with snow and covered with snow, giving it a northern-like scenery. It is a good place for skiing, hunting and ice sports.
