Scenic spots in Jianyang district

The scenic spots in Jianyang District include Huangkeng Scenic Area, Xiyuan Village, Mashan South Forest, Baita Mountain and Kaoting Village.

1. Huangkeng Scenic Area: Located in the northwest of Jianyang District, it is located in Wuyishan National Nature Reserve, which was called Tangshili and Jiaheli in ancient times, with beautiful scenery and no hustle and bustle of modern cities.

2. Xiyuan Village: Located in the southwest of jianyang city, there are still many ancient residential buildings in Qing Dynasty, and the local crispy rice and Weng Guo Zi are unforgettable.

3. Runnanlin: It consists of nearly 10,000 rare nanmu trees of different sizes. This forest is lush all year round. It is a national key ecological public welfare forest protection area. It was first planted by Cai, a Neo-Confucianism scholar in the Song Dynasty. It has been bred and protected 1000 years.

4. Baita Mountain: Located at the junction of Jianyang and Wuyishan Honghe Grand Canyon Eco-tourism Zone, it is a famous Taoist mountain in Jianyang. There is Longji Daoyuan on the mountain, built in the Tang Dynasty, with chessboard stones, flying stones, heart-testing stones and immortal caves.

5. Kaoting Village: Located in the western suburb of Jianyang, it is the place where Zhu, a philosopher and educator in the Southern Song Dynasty, wrote books and gave lectures in his later years. Kaoting Village is backed by green hills, facing the water on three sides, with beautiful scenery and simple folk customs, and has been favored by literati since ancient times.
