Tourist visa to work visa
You need to go back to China to re-apply for a work visa, and you can't transfer from a short-term tourist visa.
Tourist visa is a kind of visa, which is generally a quick visa application method for the convenience of tourists and the development of tourism resources. Correspondingly, it is also greatly restricted. Generally speaking, the validity period and stay period are relatively short and can only be used for tourism-related activities.
Most visas are endorsed on a person's passport or travel document, or affixed with a label with a clear explanation, explaining the reason for the holder's entry, the time allowed to stay, or allowing him to travel to other countries through his territory.
The application requirements are as follows:
1. Have a valid guest identity (including updated implied identity retention status) when submitting the application.
2. Submit an application for a closed work permit with LMIA or LMIA exemption before February 28th, 2023.
After submitting the application, you need to be in Canada and keep your legal status.
4. The application requires a valid LMIA or LMIA exemption certificate, such as the employer guarantee nominated by the province and the focus of this policy! To have a domestic status, first find a job, and the employer will help you apply for LMIA. The application cycle of LMIA usually takes 3-4 months, and then it is necessary to go to the border to change the work visa in person, but online application is also acceptable now.
It is not a fixed application category, nor a regular immigration project, but because the temporary policy of the epidemic (as of February 28, 2023) must have LMIA or meet the requirements of visa-free LMIA before signing a tourist visa. Actually, it's much harder to get an offer. It just means that in the past, to meet this requirement, you had to apply for a work visa at the border or abroad, and you can submit a work visa in China before February 28th, 2023.
