Only then did I really reach the stockade.

First of all, we saw the commercial pedestrian street, where all kinds of Miao specialties were sold, the most interesting of which was Miao silver ornaments. Kongbai, Dagou Township, Leishan County, near Miao Village, is a well-known silversmith village. Almost all the men in the village have mastered the technology of making silver ornaments. Miao Yin has exquisite craftsmanship, and because of its light color and low price.

There is a Miao song and dance performance in the performance field of pedestrian street, which lasts about 30 minutes. You can also visit Xijiang Miao Museum and Drum Tibetan Head (Wang Miao's house, where sacred bronze drums are provided). Or take a walk along Baishui River to see the rain and wind bridge with eaves on the river and the short and narrow trestle paved with wood.

Walking to the end of the stockade is an idyllic scene, and few people come here even in the peak season. There is a battery station across the river leading to the observation deck. Miao girls with big flowers in their hair bun can often be seen in Miao village. If it is not enough, you can rent several sets of Miao costumes to play with Miao girls. Renting miao clothing is not expensive, and it is beautiful, which is very popular with girls.

Xijiang Miao Village is mature in tourism and does not need accommodation. Yes, the most famous is the long table banquet. People will ask you if you want to put long tables and banquets everywhere in the village restaurants. Tens of dollars per person, then make the table longer. Even if a long table banquet is held, it is just an experience. The real long table banquet is open-air, with dozens of tables connected together, not necessarily from beginning to end. Authentic long table banquets will be held on important festivals and important tour groups. Don't miss it. Qiandongnan tastes sour, and Miao Village's specialty dishes are sour soup fish, sauerkraut and bacon.

Accommodation far from the main street will be cheaper and the sanitary conditions will be ok. However, the accommodation in the stockade is mostly wooden houses, and the sound insulation effect is not very good.
