In the past month, the Shanghai and Shenzhen stock markets have experienced two rounds of adjustments, "5.30" and "6.20", with individual stock prices falling sharply at a rate much faster than the broader market index.

The Shanghai Composite Index fell only 11.5% from its highest point of 4335.96 points to yesterday's closing price of 3836.29 points. At the same time, the arithmetic average decline of individual stocks during this period was 22.6%, and the adjustment intensity far exceeded the broader market. .

Statistics show that from May 30 to yesterday, excluding suspended stocks, 1,320 of the remaining 1,489 Shanghai and Shenzhen stocks fell, and 1,135 fell more than the market. Among them, 27 stocks fell by more than 50% during this period; 285 stocks fell by 40% to 50%; 364 stocks fell by 30% to 40%; and stocks fell by 20% to 30%. There were 278 stocks; 208 stocks fell between 10% and 20%; and only 158 stocks fell within 10%.

After two rounds of sharp declines, low-priced stocks, ST stocks, and low-performing stocks have become the hardest hit areas. Since "5.30", among the 27 stocks whose stock prices have halved, 13 are ST stocks, accounting for nearly half. The stocks with the highest cumulative declines in the two rounds of adjustments are almost all low-priced stocks, and their performance is basically small profits or losses. However, it is worth noting that since "6.20", some stocks with good fundamentals have also fallen sharply.
