Introduction
Xiangshan County is located on the central coast of Zhejiang Province, between Xiangshan Port and Sanmen Bay, from the eastern part of the Xiangshan Peninsula to Coastal 60 Xiangshan County
It consists of 8 islands and reefs, with a land area of ??1,175 square kilometers, a sea area of ??5,350 square kilometers, and a coastline of 800 kilometers, accounting for one-sixth of the province's coastline. It currently governs 10 towns, 5 townships and 3 streets. At the end of 2005, the registered population was 527,400. Xiangshan has a long history. Tashan ancient culture was created as early as 6,700 years ago, which is a powerful supplement to the prehistoric culture of the Yangtze River Basin. In the Spring and Autumn Period, it was Yindi of the Yue State, and the county was established in the second year of Shenlong of the Tang Dynasty (706). Because there was a mountain in the northwest that "shaped like a falling elephant," it was named Xiangshan. Since the reform and opening up, Xiangshan County has based on its industrial foundation and resource advantages, consolidated its agricultural foundation, strengthened its industrial entities, developed its characteristic economy, promoted urban construction, and its comprehensive strength has been continuously enhanced. It has successively won the titles of one of the top 100 counties in the country in comprehensive strength, advanced county in fishery production, advanced county in scientific and technological progress, advanced county in sports, model county for dual support, home of folk art, home of citrus, provincial building home, and well-off county. In 2001, the county's GDP was 8.22 billion yuan, an increase of 12.5% ??over the previous year, fiscal revenue was 601 million yuan, the per capita net income of farmers and fishermen was 5,400 yuan, and the annual disposable income of urban residents was 10,683 yuan. Characteristic and beneficial agriculture is booming
The leading industry of "three waters and one vegetable" (aquatic products, fruits, waterfowl, and vegetables) has been formed. In 2001, the output value of agriculture in Xiangshan County reached 3.75 billion yuan, ranking The best in the province. The county currently has 300,000 acres of economic forests such as citrus, loquat, bayberry, tea, and bamboo shoots, and the breeding population of East Zhejiang white geese has reached 1.48 million. The "seed and seedling" project has been effectively implemented, and 15 seedling bases for high-quality citrus, special wild boar, eastern Zhejiang white goose, and large yellow croaker have been built. The total volume of aquatic products ranks among the top in the country. The marine fishing industry has developed steadily and the aquaculture industry has developed rapidly. Growth, the sea and freshwater breeding area is 230,000 acres, and the country's largest deep-water wind and wave resistant cage breeding base has been built. 80 deep water wind and wave resistant cages have been developed. There have been continuous breakthroughs in the comprehensive development and utilization of marine biological resources. Behind Shipu Port, one of the four major mass fishing ports in the country, there is the China Aquatic Products City, the largest aquatic products wholesale market in East China, with an annual transaction volume of 200,000 tons.
The industrial economy is growing rapidly
Among the more than 4,000 industrial enterprises, a large number of enterprises have been formed, led by large enterprises such as Huaxiang, Tianan, Juying, and Yongnan, with needle textiles, mechanical electronics, etc. , aquatic product processing and other categories as the main body of the relatively complete system. The knitting and textile industry is Xiangshan's traditional advantageous industry. There are nearly a thousand enterprises, and the output value accounts for 40% of the county's total industrial output value. The products are exported to more than 100 countries and regions. Mechanical electronics is the leading industry of Xiangshan Industry, which mainly produces auto parts, power transmission and transformation equipment, electronic communication equipment, fire-fighting equipment, medical equipment, food equipment, etc., and is developing rapidly. Their annual construction output value has reached 2 billion yuan, and they have won the first and second place in the comprehensive evaluation of construction companies from other provinces and cities entering Shanghai for seven consecutive years. In the past few years, construction enterprises in the county have won 8 national "Luban Awards", more than 59 Shanghai "Magnolia Awards", and 213 provincial-level and above quality engineering awards. A large number of "high, large, difficult and new" projects such as the Shanghai Viaduct and Hangzhou Huanglong Sports Center are constructed by construction companies in our county.
At present, the construction market has expanded to more than 20 provinces and cities across the country, and it has undertaken construction projects in Vietnam, Yemen, Malaysia and other countries.
Marine tourism is booming
In 2001, it received 650,000 tourists and generated comprehensive tourism revenue of 250 million yuan, an increase of 70.3% over the previous year. The six beaches of Songlan Mountain, a national "AAA" seaside tourist resort 5 kilometers away from the center of Xiangshan County
are winding and connected. The headlands are steep and the rocks are steep, and the mountains and caves are in various shapes. It is connected with Shipu Imperial City Beach, Red Beach and The Rock Corridor has become one of Ningbo's new top ten famous sceneries. "China Fishing Village", a comprehensive marine cultural tourism project jointly invested by Hangzhou Songcheng Group and Xiangshan *** with an investment of 500 million yuan, has a planned land area of ??2,000 acres and is scheduled to be completed in 2004. There are also the Yushan Islands known as the "Sea Fairy Country", Tantoushan known as the "Honolulu Mountains of China", the beautiful Lingyan Mountain, and Hua'ao Island with its steep peaks, strange rocks and skyscraper stone forests, etc., which will make you linger and forget to return. .
The city's appearance is changing with each passing day
The central urban area consists of three streets, Dandong, Danxi and Juexi, with a total area of ??111.8 square kilometers, a built-up area of ??10 square kilometers and a population of 120,000. A number of iconic and basic facilities such as People's Square, Gymnasium, Radio and Television Center, Huaxiang Building, International Hotel, and Higher Education Park have been completed or are under intense construction. She is making great strides towards the goal of "creating the best living environment and building a modern ecological coastal city".
Edit this section of physical geography
Surrounded by sea on three sides and one line passing through land
Xiangshan is located in the middle section of the eastern coast of Zhejiang Province, southeast of Ningbo City,
Between Xiangshan Port and Sanmen Bay. Its geographical location is adjacent to Xiangshan Port in the north, facing Yinzhou District and Fenghua City across the harbor; in the northeast, it faces Liuheng Island in Putuo District, Zhoushan City and Meishan Island in Beilun District, Ningbo City; it borders the Damu Ocean in the east; and it borders the Maotou Ocean in the south. It faces Sanmen County in Taizhou City across Sanmen Bay; it connects to Ninghai County in the west, and the Xiangshan Peninsula extends from Zixi and Meilin in Ninghai County to Yi City in the east and enters the sea. Xiangshan is located in the eastern part of the Xiangshan Peninsula. It is composed of more than 600 islands and reefs in the eastern part of the Xiangshan Peninsula and along the coast. It has the physical characteristics of "surrounded by sea on three sides and one line passing through the land". Xiangshan is a veritable peninsula county. The maximum distance between east and west of Xiangshan County is 70 kilometers, and the maximum distance between north and south is 90 kilometers. The total land area is 1,175 square kilometers, of which the peninsula is 995 square kilometers and the islands and reefs are 180 square kilometers.
North Ningbo and south Wenzhou are integrated into the "Yangtze River Delta"
Xiangshan County is the southernmost county under the jurisdiction of Ningbo City. It is located between the two open cities of Ningbo and Wenzhou. Changxiangshan County
The outer edge of the Delta Economic Zone. In 1988, it was listed as a coastal economic development zone by the State Council. It is separated by a narrow strip of water from Ningbo Beilun Development Zone and Yinzhou District to the north, and is only 300 kilometers away from Shanghai, the economic center of the Far East. In the 21st century, the Yangtze River Delta region will be the main growth pole of China's economic development. The construction of Shanghai International Economic Center, especially the construction of Ningbo's modern international port and heavy chemical industry base, will surely drive the development and construction of the two major ports of Xiangshan Port in the north and Shipu Port in the south and the overall economic development. The first session of the 12th Ningbo Municipal People's Congress proposed the strategic deployment of accelerating the construction of the Xiangshan Port Bridge, which highlighted the location advantages of the Xiangshan area and will further integrate Xiangshan into Ningbo, connect with Shanghai, connect Taizhou and Wenzhou, and promote comprehensive economic and social development. Once the Xiangshan Port Bridge is completed, it will only be a "half-hour journey" of 50 kilometers from Dancheng to Ningbo, and it can connect many expressways such as the Tongsan Line and many high-grade highways such as the main coastal national highway and Ningbo Coastal South Line into a network. , to further expand the radiation range of trunk highways and achieve the strategic goal of Ningbo City’s “half-hour transportation economic circle”. Coupled with the superimposed effect of the Hangzhou Bay Cross-sea Bridge, Xiangshan will enter Shanghai's "3-hour highway traffic circle", fully integrate into the Yangtze River Delta economic circle centered on Shanghai, and thus enter a fast lane of socio-economic development. Xiangshan is part of the remnants of Tiantai Mountain extending to the ocean. The entire territory of Xiangshan is mainly hilly and is known as "seven mountains, one water and two fields."
Green mountains
Xiangshan is located in the hilly coastal area of ??eastern Zhejiang. The mountain area is 793 square kilometers, accounting for 70% of the total area of ??Xiangshan County
About . Most of the county is hilly with a height of less than 200 meters, with gentle slopes and rolling hills. The general terrain features are many hills, low mountains and gentle slopes. The terrain of the county slopes from northwest to southeast. The remnants of the Tiantai Mountains extend eastward from Ninghai County to the Xiangshan Peninsula, forming the highest part of the Ningxiang junction in the northwest of the county. These mountain peaks are majestic and have many peaks, with the main peaks being more than 500 meters. Among them, Dongbi Mountain meanders from the Tea Mountain in Ninghai County, with continuous peaks. The main peak is 810.8 meters above sea level, which is the highest peak in the county. To the southeast is Niuliogang, which is 756 meters above sea level and is the second highest peak in the county. There are more than 20 peaks with an altitude of 300-700 meters around. Mountains are generally 200-450 meters high and widely distributed. There are three main mountains in the county: Juexi Mountain, Huangbi'ao Mountain and Nanxiang Mountain.
Pingchou Jianbu
Most of the plains in Xiangshan are scattered in coastal areas. These plains are mostly formed by siltation from the bay and are artificially surrounded by Xiangshan County
It is called a sea plain and is mainly distributed in Xiangshan Port in the north, bays in the east and Sanmen Bay in the south.
It is characterized by its large area and wide scope, occupying a dominant position in the Xiangshan Plain. Among them, Nanzhuang Plain and Dingshan Plain are the largest, and have historically been known as the "upper 80,000 acres" and the "lower 80,000 acres". In addition, Xiangshan also has impact plains, with piedmont impact fans as the main form. Because the mountains within the territory are low and the hinterland is short and shallow, the area is not large. Dancheng, Baishi, Jiuqing, and Meixi areas are more typical. The main form of flood plains is valley plains, which are mostly narrow and long in shape and are mostly located in valleys. Xiangshan River has a short source and a fast flow, and flows into the sea alone. The water systems with a drainage area of ??more than 20 square kilometers include Datanggang, Nandahe, Dangang, Xizhougang, Xiashangang, Dongtanghe and Fan'aogang. Among them, the Datanggang water system is located in Dingshan Plain, with a drainage area of ??134 square kilometers. The main stream of Datang Port was originally the inner port of Sanmen Bay. In 1975, it was blocked and stored as a river, with a length of 18 kilometers and an average width of 500 meters. Banbian Mountain Banbian Mountain scenic spot in Xiangshan County is close to the vast East China Sea. It is a small peninsula surrounded by clear water on three sides. It only takes 30 minutes by water to set sail from Shi. The scenic seaside mountains are unique and majestic, the coastal reefs are beautiful and spectacular, and the pebble beaches are colorful and attractive. Mengding Mountain Mengding Mountain is located south of Xizhou Town. It is named because it is often covered with clouds and fog in spring and summer. There are four ways to climb the mountain: one goes up the mountain from Shadi Village at the north foot, along which there are many scenic spots such as Shangmashi, Fuhu Mountain, Huanxiling and so on. The path is winding and narrow; the other goes up the mountain from Laijia Village at the east foot, and the narrow path is steep and difficult to climb; The other one goes up the mountain from Bajiaodong Lingtou in the south. The road is wide and gentle. Today, all the tea drinkers on the mountain use this road to get up and down. The fourth route goes up from Che Lingtou on the ridge behind Qingfengqiao Village at the west foot. This road was repaired at the end of 2005. The line passes through Chelingtou and has gradually become the main road for tourists to go up the mountain. The large and small thatched huts and many Buddhist temples that the line passes by are becoming a must-see for many tourists. It is also a must-see for the villagers of Zhang's Eight Villages at the foot of Mengding Mountain when they go up the mountain every Spring Festival. road! Every year on the first day of October in the lunar calendar, as long as it doesn't rain, many tourists will gather at the pagoda on the top of Mengding Mountain to watch the beautiful scenery of "the sun and the moon rising together" in the early morning of the first day of October! Nanjiushan Nanjiushan is the main island of the Jiushan Islands. It is one of the larger islands along the central coast of Zhejiang Province. It is located on the sea 32 kilometers east of Dancheng Town, Xiangshan County, and 18.61 kilometers from the nearest point to the mainland in the west. According to the "Xiangshan County Chronicle" of the Republic of China: "Jiushan Mountain is named after the large leek produced." And because the island is located in the south of Zhoushan Islands, the bandits named it Nanjiashan with "South". Tantoushan There is an island with an area of ??more than 11 square kilometers between Damu Yang and Maotou Yang in the southeast of Xiangshan Peninsula. She is called Tantoushan. Wushi Mountain Wushi Mountain, also known as Wuzhi Mountain, is located at the junction of Maoyang Township, Dongchen Township and Xinqiao Town, with an altitude of 557 meters. It is one of the famous mountains in the county. There is a poem that goes: "On the sun, thousands of peaks are moving against the green wall, and the wind blows through the green pines and thousands of valleys are cold. The bird path is extremely small, the city is small, and the flowers are full of fragrance." Looking at the majestic peak from a distance, it is tall and straight, and the wall is difficult to climb, just like five lions. Stroke also looks like five fingers coming together, so it is called "Five Lions" or "Five Fingers". Yushan There are many islands and reefs in Haicheng, Xiangshan County, and the famous Yushan Islands is one of them. The Yushan Islands are divided into South Yushan and Beiyushan. The often-called Yushantong refers to Beiyushan. Beiyushan covers an area of ??0.78 square kilometers. It is like a sea-holding pillar standing in the vast expanse of blue waves, or a piece of green emerald protected by the blue sea and sky. Zhushan Zhushan is located at the junction of Xianxiang and Tuci towns, also known as Zhuyan Mountain, with an altitude of 541 meters. Song Baoqing's "Four Ming Dynasties" records, "Zhushan, also known as Zhuyan Mountain, has a stone on the top of the mountain that is as round as a bead and is more than a hundred feet high, so it is named Zhuyan." There is an ancient legend that "looking at the sea ships in the distance, the precious light on the top of the rock shines on the stars". It is also praised as "red jade piles and carved peaks", which is a major scenic spot in the county. Gexizhang Reservoir is located 0.5km upstream of Gexizhang Village, Xizhou Town, Xiangshan County, Zhejiang Province. It is an upstream tributary of the Dangang Water System, with a rainwater collection area of ??10.6km2 upstream of the dam site. Gexizhang Reservoir is a comprehensive utilization project mainly focusing on water supply and irrigation, combined with flood control, etc., and is a third-class project. Xiangshan is located at 121°34’-122°20’ east longitude and 28°45’-29°49’ north latitude, close to the Pacific Ocean. Its geographical location determines that Xiangshan has very obvious subtropical monsoon climate characteristics, that is, four distinct areas, no severe cold in winter, no scorching heat in summer, a long frost-free period (an average of about 248 days per year, and a growing season of 345 days), and sufficient sunlight (the average annual temperature (16-17℃), mild and humid, with abundant rainfall (the annual average precipitation is more than 1400mm). Due to different topography, the temperature in the northwest and southeastern coastal areas of the county is slightly higher than that in the Shipu area in the southeast. The annual accumulated temperature in the northwest exceeds 6000°C; the annual precipitation, even in drought years, is higher in the mountainous areas in the northwest than in the southeast. The Shipu area of ????the Ministry of Commerce.
Organized tides
Xiangshan faces the sea on three sides, and many islands are surrounded by the sea. At this time, we will find that the sea water has a rising and falling phenomenon: it rises and falls twice a day. Flooding onto the beach, the reefs and beaches exposed above the water were submerged, and the water level in the bays and harbors increased. At a certain time, the sea water gradually dropped, and the exposed rocks and beaches were full of water again. People call the rising tide of sea water, and the falling tide of sea water called ebb tide. When the water reaches its highest point, it is called high tide, and when it reaches its lowest point, it is called low tide. When the tide rises during the day, we call it "tide"; when the tide rises at night, we call it "tide"; the regular rise and fall of sea water are collectively called tides. Xiangshan is a large ocean county, with a regular semidiurnal tidal zone along the coast.
Tides are closely related to the life and production of the people in Xiangshan. Mastering the rise and fall of tides is of great significance for fishing, salt drying, artificial breeding, arranging the entry and exit of ships in seaports and estuaries, and preventing typhoons. Tides are caused by the gravitational pull of the moon and sun. The earth's gravitational pull on the seawater on the ground is millions of times greater than that of the moon and the sun, so the seawater remains on the earth and will not be sucked away by the moon and the sun. However, both the moon and the sun attract the ocean like large magnets, which can swell the water near them and cause tides. Although the sun is much larger than the moon, because the moon is much closer to the earth than the sun is to the earth, the moon's gravitational pull on the earth is much greater than that of the sun. Tides are mainly caused by the moon. When a certain place on the earth faces or faces away from the moon, the force of the moon is greatest at this place, and the sea water rises to form a high tide area; the sea water in other areas flows to the high tide area, forming an ebb tide area. When the earth rotates once, a certain place must face the moon once and face away from the moon once, so there are two high tides, and the interval between the two high tides is two low tides. Xiangshan fishing proverb: "On the third day of the third lunar month, the water is high, and on the eighth and 23rd day, the water is low." The relative positions of the moon and the sun to the earth have a great influence on ocean tides. For example, when the moon and the sun are in line with the earth, the combined gravitational pull of the moon and the sun on the earth causes unusual ocean tides. This kind of ocean tide is called a spring tide. It occurs once on the third and eighteenth day of each month in the lunar calendar; when the moon and the earth When the two lines connecting the moon and the earth are at right angles, the gravity is weak and the tide is very low. This kind of tide is called a neap tide. The tide level in Xiangshan is the highest on the third and eighteenth day of the lunar month; the lowest tide level is on the eighth and twenty-third day of the lunar month in mid-January.
Natural Oxygen Bar
According to measurements, oxygen accounts for about 20.7% of the atmospheric environment we live in. An adult consumes about 500 liters of oxygen per day for metabolism. The oxygen storage capacity in the human body is only about 1.5 liters. The rest can only be replenished by breathing oxygen in the air. The forest coverage area of ??Xiangshan reaches 58%, and the per capita public green area of ??Xiangshan is 11.89 square meters. The annual average temperature is 16-17°C. According to the determination of relevant experts, all indicators of the atmosphere in Xiangshan reach the conditions of a high-quality resort. In particular, the content of negative oxygen ions per cubic centimeter in the atmosphere of Xiangshan is as high as 14,700, fully reaching the level of a national resort. First level standard. When the negative oxygen ion content per cubic centimeter reaches 100,000-1 million, the air itself has the effect of preventing and treating diseases. The negative oxygen ion content in the atmosphere is generally 400-700 per cubic centimeter. Therefore, the natural "green" air in Xiangshan is known as the "natural oxygen bar". The land area of ??Xiangshan is 1,175 square kilometers, which is composed of the basic pattern of "seven mountains, one water and two fields". It belongs to the subtropical maritime monsoon climate zone, with a forest coverage rate of more than 56%. It is warm and humid, has four distinct seasons, abundant rainfall, and absorbs and dissipates heat. The balance of payments is balanced, and it is a place with relatively good living conditions; however, typhoons are frequent, often accompanied by violent storms and rains, the water system has short sources and fast flows, and flows into the sea alone. The engineering regulation and storage performance is weak, and the density of the river network is low, lurking drought and flood disasters. Hidden danger. The county's multi-year average rainfall is 1,463 mm, and the multi-year average water resource runoff total is 933 million cubic meters. The spatial and temporal distribution of rainfall runoff decreases from the northwest to the southeast, and is concentrated during plum rains and typhoons, with a bimodal shape. The interannual variation is extremely deviated from equilibrium, with the largest variation being 2.83. As well as the limitations of engineering geology, topography, submerged migration and economic conditions, water resources development and utilization are difficult to develop and utilize. Xiangshan County is rich in marine resources and is one of the best areas in East China that integrates various marine resources such as "fishing, ports, islands, and beaches". In recent years, in accordance with the goals of "fishery industrialization, industry diversification, and fishing port urbanization", the joint development of "fishing, ports, and scenery" has been implemented, and efforts have been made to promote the leapfrog from a major fishery county in the country to a strong marine economy county. The fishery economy is more closely integrated with the industrial economy and tourism economy. In 2003, the total output of aquatic products was 564,000 tons. After years of development, the county has more than 1,500 steel fishing boats with more than 250 horsepower. Its offshore fishing capacity ranks among the best in the province and even the country. It has been awarded the title of advanced county in fishery production at the national, provincial and municipal levels many times. In the face of various difficulties such as the decline of marine fishing resources, shrinking fishing grounds, and rising production costs, we must actively adjust the structure of fishing operations, optimize and upgrade the marine aquaculture industry, deepen the aquatic product processing industry, and guide transitioning fishermen to engage in aquaculture, offshore transportation, coastal catering, and leisure fisheries and other industries. Aquaculture has achieved new development, with deep-water wind and wave-resistant cage culture leading the country, and seaweed culture and seawater pond culture ranking among the best in the province. The processing capacity of aquatic products has been continuously improved, and high-tech enterprises such as Chaoxing have emerged that use marine biotechnology to process aquatic products. Port development was accelerated. Shipu Port is one of the six major central fishing ports in the country and a first-class mass fishing port in the country. With Shipu Fishing Port as the center and "one town and two islands" (Shipu Town, Nantian Island and Gaotang Island) as an organic whole, the fishing port economic zone is undergoing overall planning and development. Marine tourism has suddenly emerged. Rich in marine tourism resources, with lush vegetation, fresh air, and delicious seafood, it is one of the four major sectors of marine tourism in Zhejiang Province and one of the best areas for developing marine tourism in East China. Since 1997, Xiangshan's tourism industry has grown from scratch and has developed vigorously. At present, the county has initially formed a large-scale tourism industry with "one belt, three districts, and ten major products" (Baili Golden Coast Tourist Belt and Songlan Mountain Leisure Resort, Shipu Port Fishing Culture Tourist Area, and Datang Port Ecological Sightseeing Tourist Area). Development pattern, becoming an important coastal tourist resort in the Yangtze River Delta region.

Edit this paragraph about local customs
It was a custom on fishing boats in the past that women did not go on fishing boats. In the final analysis, the customs on fishing boats revolved around safety and harvest. If a woman gets on a boat and goes to sea, she cannot move a big net or anything, and she has an extra pair of chopsticks and less labor. She has to have a separate boudoir for her in the already small space, and the husband and wife also have to have a conjugal room. Even if there is a brave female warrior who is not afraid of making waves, if she goes to sea for ten days and a half, there will be a woman among a dozen men, and if things go wrong, she will write a romantic novel. There are indeed many taboos on fishing boats, some of which are very trivial. When throwing away leftovers, don't say "dump". When the boat docks, you are not allowed to say "arrived". The word "dump" is taboo, so as not to leave a psychological shadow. From a psychological point of view, it is not unreasonable. If you have a shadow in your heart and are always worried about something going on, you will be easily distracted. If you are distracted, you may not be sure that something will happen. When sitting on a fishing boat, do not sit with your feet dangling in the air, and do not sit on the side of the boat with your feet dangling outwards. It is said that water ghosts will drag you into the sea. In popular terms, this is also a safety regulation. . Even if the boat is not moving, it is still swimming indefinitely. If your feet are dangling in the air, the probability of falling will increase. The old fishermen told the new fishermen that it was dangerous to sit like this. The young ones could only say: I will be careful. He didn't take this rule seriously. He had never encountered the tragic situation of life and death, so he would turn a deaf ear to this reminder. But once he heard that sitting like this would attract water ghosts to drag him into the water, the effect was completely different. This sea of ??ghosts was scary. Whether on board or on shore, people are often in awe of things that are indestructible. I can't listen to the real truth, and the word "ghost" makes people submissive. In essence, the fishermen do not respect ghosts, but respect human life! The purpose of safety is achieved through a roundabout way.
