Ganzhou is the largest administrative region in Jiangxi Province. It is located in the south of Jiangxi and the upper reaches of the Gan River, referred to as Gannan. Ganzhou is the Pearl River Delta, the direct hinterland of the Southern Fujian Triangle and one of the important passages from the inland to the southeastern coast. It is also the link between the Yangtze River Economic Zone and the South China Economic Zone. It currently governs fifteen counties including Xinfeng, Anyuan and Dingnan. Ruijin, Nankang 2 City and Zhanggong District. The total area is approximately 40,000 square kilometers and the total population is approximately 8.37 million.
Ganzhou has a long history and culture, especially in the Song Dynasty. Ganzhou has become one of the 36 most important cities in the country at that time. It was an important commercial town and transportation hub in the Yangtze River Basin and Minjiang River Basin in the southeast region at that time. After the founding of the People's Republic of China, especially in the 30 years of reform and opening up, Ganzhou has regained its vitality. Good natural conditions have shaped Ganzhou’s picturesque landscapes, and its long history has endowed Ganzhou with rich human and historical resources. This makes Ganzhou's tourism resources extremely rich and diverse. There are not only the beautiful Sanbai Mountain, the first grotto in the south of the Yangtze River - Tongtian Rock, the beautiful Cuiweifeng, Longnan Wudang Mountain in the fairyland on earth and other natural landscapes, but also the well-preserved Ganzhou City Wall of the Song Dynasty and the towering Bajing There are historical and cultural attractions such as Taiwan and Yugutai, as well as a group of modern revolutionary historical sites represented by Ruijin. Ganzhou is known as the Museum of the Song Dynasty due to its well-preserved cultural landscape featuring the cultural heritage of the Song Dynasty, and is one of the three national-level historical and cultural cities in Jiangxi.
Now let me introduce Yu Gutai. Yugutai is named after its tall mountain and Yurangu Temple. The ancient city of Ganzhou from the Song Dynasty meanders past Taixia. It is a municipal cultural relic protection unit. In December 1985, it was listed as one of the first batch of provincial key scenic spots. Yugu Terrace was first built with a history of at least more than 1,200 years. The current platform was completed in September 1984. Shu Tong, a famous calligrapher and former honorary chairman of the National Calligraphy Association, inscribed the platform. Yugu Terrace is a major scenic spot in Ganzhou. Wen Tianxiang, Su Dongpo, Xin Qiji, Guo Moruo and other literati from past dynasties visited it and wrote poems. When we enter Yugu Terrace, we can see those inscriptions.
Ganzhou is rich in natural products. It is rare to visit Ganzhou. You can buy a variety of famous and high-quality local products. Nan'an salted duck has a complete shape, color, aroma and taste. It is well-known at home and abroad and is known as spicy. Medical stone high-grade health tea is made of pure green tea and Gannan medical stone as raw materials. It is refined using modern science and technology. It has the effects of refreshing, improving intelligence and eliminating fatigue. Xinfeng navel oranges have crisp and tender flesh, sweet and aromatic flavor, so there is a saying that when a navel orange enters a room, the aroma fills the room. Known as China’s No. 1 Orange. Anyuan shiitake mushrooms have thick flesh and large flowers, are delicious and fragrant, and are rich in minerals, vitamins and proteins. They have anti-cancer, anti-cold and other medicinal values. They are people’s favorite edible mushrooms and are known as the delicacies of the South.
In addition, Ganxian Wangmudu red melon seeds, Jiangkou dumplings, Longgui tea and other local products are also popular among tourists;
