Yuelu Mountain is the first tourist attraction in Changsha, where not only the scenery is beautiful, but the Yuelu Academy at the foot of the mountain also brings it a unique cultural atmosphere. The highlights of Yuelu Mountain, such as Yuelu Academy and Evening Pavilion, are all concentrated near the West Gate. If you don't want to climb the mountain, you can enter the scenic spot directly from the west gate.

Orange Island, the largest inland continent in the world, is a must-see spot for traveling to Changsha. It is the early revolutionary activity place of Chairman Mao. A huge statue of Chairman was built to commemorate it, which can inspire your patriotic feelings. Orange Island has a beautiful natural environment. There are large orange trees in the park, and you can enjoy fireworks and hot springs at night.
Changsha Window of the World
The Window of the World in Changsha is not only a replica of classic buildings from all over the world, but also a large proportion of exaggerated scenic spots, so that you can see all the famous scenic spots in the world without going abroad. There are also many amusement facilities here, such as the five-ring roller coaster and the big pendulum, which is a scenic spot suitable for young people's entertainment and gathering.
Changsha aquarium
The highlight of Changsha Underwater World is all kinds of interactive performances. Here you can enjoy the wonderful pictures that other aquariums seldom see, such as the beautiful and exciting "shark dance", Russian underwater ballet performance and so on. You can also interact closely with marine animals such as dolphins and sea lions, which is very suitable for bringing children to play.
Mawangdui Western Han Tombs (Mawangdui)
More than 3,000 precious cultural relics have been unearthed here, and the internationally famous Mrs. Xin Zhui is also buried here, as well as historical relics such as ceramics and musical instruments, which show the splendid cultural essence of the Han Dynasty and provide us with precious historical materials for understanding the history at that time. The Han tomb is not big, but the exhibits are exquisitely arranged. I suggest that you don't take a cursory look when you visit, you can experience it slowly.
Tian Xin
Tianxin Pavilion is a landmark building in ancient Changsha. Although it has been repaired by later generations, the ancient city wall still stands. This antique tower has witnessed the historical changes of Changsha, and there is a park next to it, which you can visit and experience the daily life of Changsha people.

Taiping Street is well preserved, including not only Jia Yi's former residence, the former site of the Revolution of 1911 and other historical sites, but also shops with unified planning. The Republic of China and modernity are well integrated, with food and fun and charm!

Although locals don't often go to the Fire Palace, it used to be a famous snack place in Changsha. All authentic snacks in Changsha can be found here. There are many kinds of snacks, and there are performances from time to time, so you can eat and watch them. It is still worth punching in for foreign tourists.
Du Fu's Jiangge
You can know from the name that this place has something to do with the great poet Du Fu. It is located on the Xiangjiang River, facing the statue of Chairman Mao on Orange Island across the river. Once the fireworks are set off in Orange Island, Du Fu Jiangge is the best viewing spot. If you visit in the evening, you will be shocked by its grandeur.

Although the ancient town is newly built in the back, it also has a deep cultural heritage. Not far from the ancient town is a Neolithic site, and a large number of cultural relics have been unearthed. There are many snacks and shops here, which also attracts many tourists, but it is a little far from the urban area, and it takes 1 or 2 hours by car, but the advantage is that there are not many people, so you can finally take pictures and retouch the map with peace of mind!
