How much does it cost to travel from Beijing to Tibet?

My actual combat strategy in Tibet, reference!

Take the train back and forth as an example (people in plain areas can gradually adapt to the discomfort caused by altitude) Lhasa+Namco is about 2700; Lhasa+Namco+Xigaze around 3300; Lhasa+Namco+Everest Base Camp (including Shigatse) (chartered car, four people in one car, it is recommended to rent Toyota Jeep) is about 5300; Lhasa+Namco+Everest Base Camp (including Shigatse)+Ali area around 6500; Lhasa+Namco+Everest Base Camp (including Shigatse)+Ali area+the southern section of Sichuan-Tibet line or about 9000 Yunnan-Tibet line; -Note: The above scenic spots basically cover the Tibetan scriptures, and the prices are mainly chartered (ascending is generally more expensive than descending), with the highest prices in June, July, August and September!

Transportation: the train from Beijing is about 1300 (book tickets in advance, or transfer to Xining or Lanzhou); The air ticket is around 3600, and the closer to the summer vacation, the higher the price, or even no ticket.

If it takes more than ten days. After arriving in Lhasa, it is recommended to stay near Jokhang Temple on the first night, preferably in a hotel in the middle of Jokhang Temple (it is convenient to travel and only takes 10 minutes to walk to Potala Palace) (200 yuan/night is good if Lhasa has no special requirements for accommodation);

On the second day, I visited Potala Palace (there is a three-tower platform opposite me, which is a good place to shoot)-Tibet Museum-Norbulingka-drepung monastery (sunbathing Buddha is a bright spot) (I recommend visiting Sera Temple, one of the four major Buddhist temples in Tibet, for the grand debate and the true restoration of Buddhism. If physical strength is limited, drepung monastery and Sera Temple can be arranged for the next day, and then postponed.

On the third day, I went to Tashilhunpo Temple in Shigatse, and visited Basongcuo on the way (Namtso is a saltwater lake with icebergs printed on it; Yangzhuoyong Lake-car tour, magnificent, delicious fish, recommended to taste, about 0/50 per catty/kloc; Basongcuo is a freshwater lake with beautiful lakes and mountains and rich vegetation, which is hard to see in Tibet); -Tashilhunpo Temple in Shigatse (the willow tree at the gate is rare)-Return to Yangzhuoyong Lake (marked with a photo in Yanghu Lake), Carola Glacier (the shooting place of the film red river valley was bombed by some scum directors), the Anti-British Monument Castle, Baiju Temple and stay in Lhasa.

Considering that there is plenty of time (15 days or more) and a large number of people, it is recommended to charter a car directly to the Everest Base Camp in Lhasa (you have plenty of time and high cost performance). The trip to Shigatse to complain completely includes the need to apply for a pass, but it is not an exit pass (the chartered driver will apply for it). Remember to buy postcards and conch specimens when you go to Everest, and don't have too much lunch; On the return trip from Mount Everest, you can visit Shacang Temple (so that temples of several major Tibetan Buddhist sects in Tibet can pay homage). This route lasts for four days without stopping at the base camp for three days.

On the third day, I went to Namtso (usually there will be altitude sickness, especially at the last mountain pass before arrival, so be careful not to exercise excessively), and the yak was good (iceberg, lake water, yak, handsome guy) and returned to Yangbajing (used to soaking in hot springs). If you are lucky, you can visit the power plant and stay in Lhasa.

On the fourth day, if I return from Lhasa, I will finally visit Xiaozhao Temple (this Buddha statue is worth visiting. It was damaged during the Cultural Revolution, but it was completely restored, showing three Buddha statues; The Buddha statues enshrined in Jokhang Temple can only be seen by fate), Jokhang Temple, Bajiao Street (it is more convenient to bring gifts back to pack things).

Note: Try not to exercise excessively all the time except Shigatse, and keep warm. If you go to Everest, you'd better prepare 1-2 small cans of oxygen, sunscreen products and non-slip shoes. Good luck!

The route of the second trip to Tibet (chartered car, which costs a lot): Kunming-Dali-Lijiang-Shangri-La (Meili Snow Mountain)-Yunnan-Tibet Line (Mangkang-Bomi (USA)-Ranwu Lake-Linzhi-Jiangda-Lhasa).
