I really like rabbit ears and the Touhou Project. The author often draws characters from the Touhou Project such as Suzusen Yutankain Yuna and other characters on his personal website. This hobby gradually influenced his serial works.

In May 2011, Yu Enonomiya left a message on Twitter that he was suffering from gastric cancer. On June 20 of the same year, he announced that he was going to the United States for surgery. In July, he reported that the surgery was successful. He continued to track his physical condition to prevent recurrence. In August of the same year, He walked into the auditorium with his assistant Hiiragi Higurashi and got married.
