Where is the Qing Dongling?

Qing Dongling Mausoleum is located 30km northwest of zunhua city, Tangshan City, Hebei Province, and125km west of Beijing, covering an area of 80km2. It is the royal mausoleum complex with the largest existing scale, the most complete system and the most reasonable layout in China.

The Qing Dongling Mausoleum was built from 166 1 (18th year of Shunzhi), which lasted for 247 years, and 2 17 palace archways were built successively, forming 15 cemeteries. Xiaolingshen Road 1

Xiaolingshen Road is about 6 kilometers long, starting from the stone archway at the foot of Jinxing Mountain in the south and reaching Baocheng and Shiding at the foot of Changrui Mountain in the north. It connects dozens of buildings in Xiaoling along Chaoshan Mountain, Hanshan Mountain and Beiling Mountain, forming the central axis of the buildings in the mausoleum area. The sacred path of Xiaoling is the longest sacred path of Qingling.

2. Xiaoling stone archway

The stone archway in China, Xiaoling has the widest stone archway, in the form of wood structure, with five rooms, six columns and eleven floors, with a width of 3 1.35m and a height of 12.48m, all made of huge blue and white stones.

The top of the clip stone is carved with unicorn and lion, and the surface is embossed with patterns such as Yunlong, grass dragon and double lion ball. The beams are carved with colorful spiral paintings. There are auspicious clouds embossed on the folding columns and flower boards. Bucket arch, rafter flying, tile ridge, kissing beast, cloud pier and sparrow replacement are all carved out of stone. After two major earthquakes, it has been intact for 330 years.
