Tourist attractions in Yongfu town

Yongfu Town has a natural scenic spot with Danxia landform, which is called Bamboo Sea in West Sichuan. A military fortress was built in the Southern Song Dynasty. In the middle of Qing dynasty, it was a concentrated production place of papermaking, and in the late 1950 s it became a base of papermaking raw materials. On the top of the mountain, there is a small lake built to intercept waterfalls and streams. It is about 200 meters long and 20 meters wide.

In the scenic area, mountains and gullies are strewn at random, and forests and bamboo forests with an area of about 24,000 square kilometers are endless, full of green. The average altitude is 450 meters, with abundant rainfall and four distinct seasons. There are precious plants such as Guanyin lotus fern, Alsophila spinulosa, Zhennan tree and acacia tree, and precious animals such as golden pheasant, bamboo chicken, Shi Wa, harp frog and bamboo cow inhabit the bamboo sea, which is an ideal resort for sightseeing, leisure and summer vacation. In addition to the endless bamboo sea, there are other scenic spots available for viewing, such as Xiaodong Hong Fei, Baiyanzhai, Taoyuan New Village, Guanyinyan, Wuliheng, Qiandao Lake, Yuanyang Lake, Niaoqiyan and so on. Among them, the flying rainbow in Xiaodong falls leisurely from the rock wall and directly hits the curtain waterfall of turtle-shaped stone in the pool, which is called "Millennium Bathing Turtle". Behind the curtain of the waterfall, the rocks are recessed, forming a cloister path.

Baiyanzhai, a military fortress site built in the Southern Song Dynasty, still retains ancient battle maps and weapons maps on the rock wall, including simple carvings and stone carvings in the Ming and Qing Dynasties. Passing through the Shuiyue Cave, a rock tunnel about 500 meters long, and arriving at Taoyuan New Village, you can enjoy the similar scenery recorded in Tao Yuanming's Peach Blossom Garden. The paper mill in the village is primitive and simple, with well-defined terraces. The cliff opposite is Danxia landform, which is vivid and beautiful under the shade of bamboo.
