When traveling to Europe, you must visit these places. They are really beautiful.
Travel is a very personal thing. We can’t copy other people’s experiences just like we can’t replicate the beauty. Everyone perceives the world differently, and there is no optimal route. That place has been there for thousands of years, but everyone who has been there has a different experience. I record the words and pictures just to help myself. When I am in trouble, I have such a refuge to go to. After quite a few trips, for me, the charm of travel comes from its contingency and unknownness. You can never guess how weird things you will encounter in a strange country, or how many completely different people you will meet. Such "unpreparedness" makes me full of expectations.
1. Budapest
The apartment we live in looks like an ordinary European-style building from the outside, but it has a zigzag structure inside. The landlord told us that the apartment was built in 1897. Do some math. It is 121 years old. Although it is old, it is still full of vitality. You can always see the residents coming in and out and the balcony with a lively atmosphere. A random piece of furniture in the house is older than my boyfriend and I combined. The landlord said he found a "little treasure", and that's absolutely true! Bullet holes left during World War II are vaguely visible on the walls. Today, a considerable number of Jewish descendants still live in the houses left to them by their ancestors. There is not a single new building in the quiet Jewish community.
2. At the foot of the Alps
The landlord lives on the first floor and the guests are on the second floor. The suite is larger than expected. The window next to the bed was covered with greenery. Between the green grass and the top of the snow, the treetops were trembling slightly, and the clouds were flowing almost still. It is as comfortable as the pastoral garden where Peter Rabbit lives in Miss Potter's painting. Every morning I have to stare at it for a long time before I get up. At the end of the day, the sun was sinking. When we discovered this tender, fresh lawn, the light was quietly rehearsing a dance. I saw it jumping on every grass tip, outlining the orange outline of the distant mountains. Rings of light were circled in mid-air, everything exuded a light tenderness, and they opened their arms to embrace us. I accidentally saw a cute hillside, which looked very much like the place where Maria danced. Everything became harmless because of its cuteness, and I was no longer afraid of even the little bugs in the grass.
3. Hallstatt
In a valley, there is a small village surrounded by green forests and snow-capped mountains. In spring, the snow melts and flows down the river, becoming a stream and nourishing the land. In summer, the soil is grateful for this gift, and small white flowers bloom on the grass. There is a small wooden house quietly taking root in this soil. I really think it is my home. The poet Wordsworth wrote: "There are several frozen points in time in our lives, which are outstanding and majestic. They cheer us up when we are in trouble." I think this moment is the "frozen point in time" in my heart. ".
