4~5 days self-help tour in Italy (self-driving)

I don't want to fool you by posting answers directly from the internet. I personally decided to travel to Italy in early August, which is also a self-driving trip. Because there are few online posts about traveling to Italy by car, I spent two months doing my homework. Because it is a free travel, I want to have a little leisure, so I arranged a plane for 12 days +2 days. The overall itinerary is as follows for your reference:

Milan-(Verona) 2 days-Venice-(Bologna)-(Modena) 2 days-Florence-(Pisa)-(Siena)-(assisi) 3 days-Rome 3 days-Naples-(Pompeii)-(Milan) 2 days.

If you want to travel all over Italy in 4-5 days, it's definitely a cursory tour. You can only visit a few big cities, ignoring all other small places, and maybe you can get a general idea. If I only have 4-5 days, I will arrange it like this:

Milan 1 day-Venice 1 day-Florence 1 day and a half (including half-day pizza)-Rome 1 day and a half. If you don't want to go to Rome, it's worthwhile to spend these three days in Florence.

Hotel:

Book a hotel and recommend you a website. Hotels in Italy are comprehensive, ranging from 1 star to 5 stars. Booking is very convenient. I booked a hotel for 12 days.

Attractions-The most famous and must-see attractions in several major cities are as follows:

Milan Milan

Duomo, Castello Sforzesco, Santa Maria Delle Grazie, Teatro alla Scala and Pinacoteca di Brera.

Venice, Venice

San Kyle Square and San Kyle Cathedral, Rialto, Gallery of Academy of Fine Arts, Cathedral of Santa Maria Gloriosa, Palace-Bridge of Sighs,

Firenze in Florence.

The main church and Giotto Bell Tower (Duomo e Campanile di Giotto), Signoria e Palazzo Vecchio Square, Uffizi Art Museum, Basilica diSanta Croce, Popoli Garden (Giardino di Boboli), Battistero and Ponte Vecchio.

Rome Rome

Vatican, Colosseum, Bejas Bejas Museum, Romano Square, Piazza Navona.

There are too many scenic spots to see in 4-5 days. Go to a place and choose 2-3 ones that suit your taste. In addition, I suggest you ask the front desk of your local hotel more and tell them your interest. They will generally enthusiastically recommend the scenic spots you are worth seeing.
