Nanjing Park Annual Card 2023 Attractions

The attractions included in the 2023 Nanjing Park Annual Card include: the Qinhuai Scenic Belt of Confucius Temple, Yuejiang Building, Xuanwu Lake Park, Chaotian Palace and Nanjing Science and Technology Museum.

1. Qinhuai Scenic Belt of Confucius Temple: The Qinhuai Scenic Belt of Confucius Temple is located at No.53, Gong Yuan West Street, Qinhuai District, Nanjing, Jiangsu Province. The Qinhuai scenery belt of Confucius Temple takes the ancient buildings of Confucius Temple as the core and the Qinhuai River within ten miles as the axis, covering an area of 3.36 square kilometers. From Dongshuiguan Park in the east to Shuiguan Park (now Shuiximen) in the west, it is divided into Confucius Temple-Bailuzhou Scenic Area, East Gate-West Gate Scenic Area, Hongji-Jinling Arsenal Scenic Area and Chaotian Palace-Shi Ping Street Scenic Area.

2. Yuejiang Tower: Located at the top of Lion Mountain in Gulou District, Nanjing City, Jiangsu Province, Yuejiang Tower stands on the bank of the Yangtze River, swallowing clouds. It is one of the top ten cultural buildings in China and one of the four famous buildings in the south of the Yangtze River, and is known as "the first building in the south of the Yangtze River". The Yuejiang Building, more than 52 meters high, has four dark floors, carved eaves with blue tiles and colorful leaves with red curtains. It has a distinctive classical royal style and is a typical Ming Dynasty royal architectural style.

3. Xuanwu Lake Park: Xuanwu Lake Park was called Sangbo and Houhu in ancient times. It is located in Xuanwu District, Nanjing City, Jiangsu Province. It is a national key park, a national 4A-level tourist attraction and one of the largest royal garden lakes in China, and is known as the "Pearl of Jinling". Xuanwu Lake faces Zijin Mountain in the east and Ming City Wall in the west. Famous scenic spots include Xuanwu Ten Scenes, Xuanwu Dawn, Xuanpu and so on.

4. Chaotian Palace: Chaotian Palace is located in Yeshan, Shuiximen, Chaotian Palace Street, Qinhuai District, Nanjing City, Jiangsu Province. It is the largest and best-preserved ancient architectural complex in the south of the Yangtze River, and now it is the Nanjing Museum. In the Southern Dynasties, it was the seat of imperial academy. In the Ming Dynasty, it was a place where the imperial court practiced etiquette before holding a ceremony, and it was also a place where bureaucratic children attacked India and civil and military officials learned to meet the emperor.

5. Nanjing Science and Technology Museum: Nanjing Science and Technology Museum is located in Ningnan New District, Yuhuatai District with beautiful scenery, beside the beautiful Lake Flower God. The total area is 300,000 square meters, of which the main building covers an area of 34,000 square meters. Nanjing Science and Technology Museum is divided into four parts: exhibition film and television area, youth activity area, tea garden viewing area and wetland leisure area.
