It is adjacent to Qiyunshan Town in Xiuning County in the east, Fufeng Township in Qimen County in the south, Jinzipai Town in Qimen County in the west and Biyang Town in Yixian County in the north. According to the records of Yixian County, Yutang is the westernmost pier of Xin 'anjiang River. Since ancient times, it has been one of the transit points for freight transportation between Huguang and Jiangsu and Zhejiang provinces, and has the reputation of "thoroughfare of seven provinces".

Shen Du Town is located in the east of Shexian County and is under the jurisdiction of Shexian County.
