Can I bring people into the American Airlines VIP Lounge?

In some cases yes. For domestic flights within the United States, first and business class passengers are not eligible for lounge access unless the passenger has valid Sapphire and Emerald membership status issued by another Oneworld airline and can carry one passenger. Note that American Airlines Executive Platinum and Platinum members are also not eligible for lounge access. One passenger can be carried in first class on international flights, but not in business class. Emerald and Sapphire members can bring one person.
