What is the Haihe River in Tianjin? Where can it extend from the estuary?

Haihe River is one of the seven rivers in China and the largest river in the north of China, with a total drainage area of 310.8 million square kilometers, covering the whole of Beijing and Tianjin, most of Hebei, Henan, Shandong, Shanxi, Inner Mongolia and other provinces and cities.

Haihe River includes five main tributaries: North Canal, South Canal, Daqing River, Ziya River and Yongding River, and many smaller tributaries. If the longest tributary, Zhangzhuo River, is included, the total length is 1329 km. However, its main stream is only 73 kilometers, and the actual straight-line distance is less than 50 kilometers from Sanchahekou of Tianjin Jingang Bridge where Ziya River meets North Canal to Dagukou of Tanggu District. Finally, it enters the Bohai Sea.

Now Haihe River is mainly for sightseeing.
