Where is Mount Putuo?

Mount Putuo is one of the four famous Buddhist mountains in China, and is known as "the Buddhist country at sea and the holy land of the South China Sea".

Mount Putuo is located at the southern edge of Hangzhou Bay, in the eastern waters of Zhoushan Archipelago (* * * has more than 65,438 islands +0390). It is a small island in Zhoushan Archipelago in the East China Sea, belonging to Putuo District, Zhoushan City.

Mount Putuo is 6.5 kilometers southwest of shenjiamen Fishing Port, 2.5 kilometers south of Zhujiajian Island Island and 5.3 kilometers east of Luojia. Tuo Mountain is long and narrow from north to south, and the whole is rhombic. The highest peak in the central part is Foding Mountain, which extends around, with Chashan in the west, Fulongshan in the north, Qinggulei Mountain in the east, Jinping Mountain, Liantai Mountain and Baihua Mountain in the southeast and Meicen Mountain in the southwest.
