The Historical Origin of Daan Village

Because of its special geographical location and political conditions, Daan has a glorious history. As early as 1928, the "Da 'an People's Team" was organized here to carry out the peasant movement. 1929 sent troops to participate in the second Shangmei riots. 1930, "Central Jin Kui Regional Committee" and "Jin Kui Regional Soviet Government" were established one after another. 193 1 September to 1935, 1 June, was the political, military, economic and cultural center of the Soviet area in northern Fujian, and was once an influential red base praised by President Mao Zedong.

In the long revolutionary process, the people in the old liberated areas of Daan, under the leadership of the China * * * Production Party, made great sacrifices and contributions to the establishment of the * * * Republic. In each historical period, 3 10 people participated in the red guerrillas in Daan successively, including 12 cadres at the regiment level and 76 Soviet cadres at local counties (districts and townships). At the beginning of the founding of New China, Daan was designated as a 7 1 revolutionary martyr and 35 revolutionary "Five Old Men". The old revolutionary base areas are the cradle of * * * and the country, and the old Jin Kui area deserves to be called the old base areas where the red flag cannot fail. Nowadays, the people of Da 'an are carrying forward the revolutionary spirit in the old areas, and speeding up the pace of new rural construction in accordance with the 16-character policy of "development of production, affluent life, civilized rural customs, neat village appearance and wise management" and the construction concept of "building tourist attractions and promoting red culture".

Daan Village, the red capital of northern Fujian, is located in Yangzhuang Township, Wuyishan City, the northernmost part of Fujian Province, 22 kilometers away from the urban area. Located at the southern foot of fenshuiguan at the junction of Fujian and Jiangxi, it is 2 158 meters above sea level, at the foot of Huanggang Mountain, known as the "roof of East China", surrounded by peaks, with dangerous terrain, which has been a battleground for military strategists in history. Daan village covers an area of 174 square kilometers, with a forest area of 243,000 mu. 25 villager groups, 529 households, 1843 people.

The people of Da 'an, who have the spirit of heroic revolutionary struggle, started the peasant movement as early as 1927, established the people's brigade in 1928, and sent troops to participate in the second uprising in 1929. In March, the Da 'an District Committee was established, and the Soviet government in Da 'an District was established in May. The geographical and political conditions here are an ideal zone for establishing the center of the revolutionary base area in northern Fujian. The Soviet area has also strengthened the construction of women's ranks and given full play to the role of women in the Soviet area. 1927 March, Chong 'an Women's Federation was established, 1928 February, Chong 'an County Women's Liberation Committee was established. May 1930, governments at all levels improve women's institutions, winter 1932, county committees emancipate women.

The Committee was renamed the Women's Department. The main tasks of the Women's Committee are: to mobilize women to participate in the armed struggle between the Red Guards and the Young Pioneers, to make weapons, to participate in the work of keeping their mouths shut, to participate in productive labor and political and cultural studies, to participate in comfort stations, propaganda teams and stretcher teams to support the front line, to oppose the sale of marriage, to oppose the holding of child brides, and to safeguard the equal rights of men and women.

The Soviet area in northern Fujian has become an important part of the "Fang Zhimin-style base" praised by President Mao Zedong, and Daan has become the "red capital" of the Soviet area in northern Fujian.

The people of Da 'an who fought and lived in the Red Capital, under the leadership of the Party and the Soviet government, made great contributions to the consolidation and development of the base areas in northern Fujian. Da 'an is a mountain village with a population of only 6 15 households and 3,000 people. There are 3 10 people on the list of Red Army guerrillas, including 12 people who hold posts at or above the regiment level and 76 people who have served as local cadres at the county level. Old Red Army Liu Taigu personally experienced the 25,000-mile Long March. Children's groups, young and middle-aged people and the elderly in Da 'an, especially young and middle-aged men and women, participated in the rear work such as comfort stations and stretcher teams, and made sincere contributions to the construction and development of the base areas in northern Fujian.

Write in blood for thousands of years. The people of Jin Kui paid a great price for the liberation of northern Fujian. According to statistics, more than 270 outstanding sons and daughters in Da 'an died heroically on the battlefield, 273 were killed by Kuomintang reactionaries, 180 were maimed and injured by the Kuomintang, and more than 90 were arrested and escorted by the Kuomintang. Kuomintang troops burned 3/kloc-0 villages, accounting for 50% of the total number of natural villages, and burned 896 houses, leaving 224 families homeless. More than 2000 mu of farmland in this village is barren.

Daan, where the Soviet flag fluttered, was the camp where Shangrao concentration camp moved to northern Fujian during the Anti-Japanese War. On the evening of June 1942, Shen Tao, secretary of the secret party branch of the Sixth Squadron of the concentration camp, and other five backbones who planned the riot were hacked to death by Kuomintang die-hards with sabers in Hongjiaxizhou, Daan Street. In order to win the Chishi riots, these five martyrs first gave their blood and youth. During the War of Liberation, Da 'an was the place where the 15th Army of the Second Field Army of the People's Liberation Army led by General Qin Jiwei liberated the Third Route Army in northern Fujian and advanced to Chong 'an via fenshuiguan. The people of Daan carried forward the glorious tradition of supporting the army in the Soviet era, provided food and tea for the PLA, and made contributions to the liberation of northern Fujian and Chong 'an.

Daan is the focus and highlight of the old base area in northern Fujian. In the early days of the People's Republic of China, there were more than 40 old Red Army, old guerrillas, old party member, old Soviet cadres and old households in the village, which were in the forefront of Wuyishan City and were worthy of being called the key old liberated areas where the red flag failed. The people of Jin Kui deserve to be indomitable heroes.

In 2004, Daan, Huangshan-Wuyuan-Shangrao-Yiyang were included in the list of national excellent red tourist routes and the list of national classic red tourist attractions, which was confirmed by the National Development and Reform Commission, Publicity Department of the Communist Party of China, National Tourism Administration and other departments 13.
