Because of the terrain, the sand will only go up when it is windy, so the crescent moon will never be submerged, which is its magic. However, in 1975, the crescent spring was pumped on a large scale, which directly led to a sharp drop in the spring, the spring was blocked, the spring embankment collapsed and the crescent spring was in danger of drying up. Now Crescent Moon Spring has long existed in name only.

At present, the local government has also built reservoirs on both sides of the Crescent Spring, and lent about 6 million cubic meters of water from the reservoir every year to irrigate the Crescent Spring. This is why Crescent Moon Spring has to rely on "infusion" to extend its life. At present, the crescent moon spring will not disappear for the time being, but it is hard to say in the future.
