I personally appreciate Xitang’s ticket system very much. I arrived at 18:00 on Sunday afternoon and went in directly without buying a ticket. After asking about it later, I found out: No tickets are required from Monday to Thursday. Tickets are required every Friday from 12:00 to 17:00, Saturday from 8:00 to 17:00, and Sunday from 8:00 to 12:00. However, there are many alleys that lead into the ancient town.

Most of the hotels in Xitang are family-oriented, and they all renovate old houses into guest rooms. The main reason for going to Xitang is to relax, so accommodation must be particular. I feel that you must stay in a local home here, so that you can experience the folk customs of the ancient town! I heard that the hotels here are full during the peak season. Since I had booked my accommodation in advance, I called the owner of Fenglai Inn and her daughter came to pick me up. The inn I stayed at was located next to the Songzilaifeng Bridge, next to the river, right in the center of the scenic area, and it was a good place to rest and enjoy the scenery. Although the room is small, it is fully equipped with private bathroom, air conditioning, TV and water heater. The host family was very welcoming and brought a bowl of cold mung bean soup as soon as we met.

Eat: (Steamed white fish, Dingji malt pancake, Sangzi dragon hooves, lotus leaf steamed pork, the best noodles in the world, spiced beans, Bazhen cake, Xitang rice dumplings)

< p> Put down your luggage, it is already dusk, and the beauty of Xitang is gradually revealed. The restaurants near the river have set up their dining tables to welcome tourists to eat. They can taste local specialties and enjoy the sunset in Xitang. From time to time, there are bursts of light. A breeze blows, making me feel that this kind of life is a bit luxurious.

For breakfast, have a bowl of tofu pudding or small mixed stew at Qiaotou next to Qiantang Renjia. For lunch, you can choose to go to Tianxia No. 1 Noodles. There are many varieties of noodles there and they taste good. For dinner, go to "Qiantang Renjia" and "Ming and Qing Food Generation", both of which are old restaurants with river views.

Tour: (Send your son to Fengqiao Shipi Nong Qilaoye Temple Holy Church Dongyue Temple Xiyuan Leguo Restaurant Zhongfutang Yaoshian Zunwentang Fenbang Lane Wufu Bridge Huanxiu Bridge Anjing Bridge Yongning Bridge Burning Hong Kong Liren Port

You must take a cruise when going to Xitang. When the sky darkens, every household lights up red lanterns and are reflected in the water. It seems that people know that people are about to take a rest. At this time, the beauty of Xitang is unreservedly displayed to everyone. After getting off the cruise ship and returning to the residence, the host had already set up a deck chair at the door and made tea. The people here are quite hospitable and it is interesting to chat with them.

You can make an itinerary according to your own preferences. As for accommodation, it depends on where you go before you can decide where to stay.
