The Qing Dynasty (1616-1911) was a feudal dynasty established by the Jurchen tribe. In 1616, Nurhaci established Houjin. In 1636, Huang Taiji changed the name of the country to Qing. In 1644, the Qing Dynasty established its capital in Beijing. The Qing government successively suppressed peasant uprisings in various places and the anti-Qing armed forces of the Southern Ming Dynasty, and gradually unified the country. In 1911, the Revolution of 1911 broke out and the Qing Dynasty was overthrown, ending China's two thousand years of feudal monarchy.
