How will you commemorate your trip?
Buy souvenirs, take photos, and write accounts.
In the beginning, I basically bought souvenirs, because in the past, people were not very enthusiastic about taking photos, and the photos may not necessarily look good. I didn’t take photos before, and sometimes I would buy postcards or coins. Something like that, I remember once I went to the Oriental Pearl Tower in Shanghai and bought a commemorative coin, it was like fifteen yuan, and when I got back, I put it in the jewelry box at home. Still there now! If I go to Suzhou, I will buy a silk handkerchief or a beautiful wooden fan. Anyway, it is something that can mark the mark of a city.
Then I took pictures, because many tourist attractions have coins, scarves and the like, which can no longer indicate the characteristics of a place, and now that mobile phones are getting better and better, it is more and more popular to take pictures. The better it looks, the more intuitive it is to take pictures, and the longer it can be saved. I generally like to take pictures in some distinctive buildings, and take pictures with people who go there together. I choose the ones with the most people and the best pictures. Print out a piece of it and put it in your diary. You will find it particularly interesting when you look through it later.
Now it’s time to write accounts. I bought a red leather notebook, which is very retro style. I also bought a lot of colored pencils, tape, stickers and colored pens. I usually write an article every night when I travel. I write and save the text in my mobile phone. I write down how I felt about the place I went to. Because I am a very forgetful person. Only by writing it down in detail in this way can I write down the article in detail in the future. I remember so many details and I don’t want to forget them. When you get back, print out the photos and organize a good diary.
Maybe there will be new ways to commemorate in the future, but I think these are enough. If there are really unique things, I will buy them. I usually don’t bring a lot of food and just buy it locally. I eat by myself. If it’s beautiful jewelry, I might buy one or two. Then I still take photos and write accounts. I think this is a very interesting thing, not only to commemorate but also to remember.
