Yubeng Village
Yubeng Village is located in Yunling Township, Deqin County, at the eastern foot of Meili Snow Mountain, Yunnan Province. Surrounded by mountains, it has a unique geographical environment and an altitude of 3,000 meters. There are only post roads connected to the outside world. There are two postal routes entering Yubeng in the direction of Xidang and Ninong. If you want to go, you can only choose to walk or ride a mule to the scenic area. The scenery here is beautiful and the folk customs are very simple. It is also known as Arcadia. Yubeng Village is divided into upper village and lower village. The upper village leads to the China-Japan Joint Mountaineering Base Camp to climb Kawagbo, and the lower village leads to Yubeng Waterfall. Along the way, you can see the wonder of ancient seal scripts and five trees with the same root.
In fact, there are three best times to travel to Yubeng: from May to July, you can see the lush mountains and azaleas, which are very eye-catching, but from June to July is the rainy season, and the mountain roads It’s a bit difficult to walk; in September, the buckwheat flowers are in full bloom and the daphne wolfsbane flowers turn red. At this time, Yubeng is still a sea of ??flowers. October and November happen to be autumn, and all the mountains are golden. This is also the most beautiful season in Meili Snow Mountain. However, in December, there is snow on the road. Around the Spring Festival, the university may close the mountains, so it is not recommended that you go hiking in December.
In fact, the most common way to enjoy Yubeng is to go hiking. Attractions include: Xidang (entrance) - Nanzong Pass - Shangyubeng Village - Hubing - Shenpu - Xiayubeng Village - Ni Nong (exit).
The transportation here is very inconvenient. There is no constant traffic and crowds. There are only quiet and beautiful scenery here, which is very suitable for traveling. This route is fine. Bitter first and then sweet. When you are physically strong, you go up the mountain in Xi'an and take the most difficult route. It's easier to wait until later. Moreover, this route also covers many classic landscapes, such as Zong Pass, Small Farmers Base Camp, Yubeng Ice Lake, Yubeng Waterfall, Ninon Canyon and other scenic spots.
