Where do British people like to travel?
Spain
When British people talk about holidays, sunshine, tropics, islands and beaches, the first thing that comes to mind is Spain, which is almost the favorite tourist destination of all British people.
Spain is not far from Britain, its culture is similar, its price is cheaper, and the most important thing is that the climate is "guaranteed" to be better than that of Britain, so it has become the first choice for many British families to spend their holidays. Some British people simply bought a house in Spain as their second home.
The types of holidays in Spain are also very diverse, including island beaches and sightseeing cities, to meet the needs of people of all ages and different hobbies.

Ibiza and Mallorca in the Mediterranean are famous for their crazy parties, bars, dance halls and nightclubs, which are very popular with young people.
The Canary Islands, a Spanish territory on the west coast of Africa, has a mild climate all year round and is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Britain, especially suitable for families to spend their holidays together.
Not to mention those Spanish cities full of cultural atmosphere, whether you go to Madrid, Barcelona and other towns, you can feel Spanish culture, art, history, food and scenery.
In a word, Spain is a very safe choice for British people who want to spend their holidays abroad. Spain promises to bring you sunshine, beaches, wine, Spanish snacks, nightlife and countless tourist attractions.

Greece
Greece is another place famous for its island holiday, surrounded by Aegean Sea, Ionian Sea and Mediterranean Sea. Greece has more than 200 inhabited islands.
Like Spain, a holiday in Greece means enjoying the sunshine, islands and beaches, and exploring thousands of years of history, relics and fairy tales in Athens and other places.
So many islands in Greece also have different scenery. For example, the islands in the east are close to Turkey, and you can feel the obviously different Middle East customs. Crete, the largest island in the south, benefits from warm winds from Africa.
On Mykonos Island and santorini Island in the Aegean Sea, you can enjoy Greek island buildings with white walls and blue roofs.

France
France is the closest continental European country to Britain. Although the British and the French don't always live in harmony, the French style has always had a good market in Britain.
France has mountains and seas, food and wine. People who like sightseeing, art and culture can go to big cities like Paris, families with children can go to Disneyland in Paris, people who like nature and outdoor activities can go cycling or hiking in the Alps, and people who like Provence and C? te d 'Azur can enjoy the rural scenery of mountain villages such as Nice and Cannes and charming coastal towns.
Due to the close geographical location, many British families drive directly from home to France for their holidays, and even take people across the Anglo-French Strait by ferry or train to the European continent.
It is more convenient to drive your own car anywhere in France, and it also saves the cost of renting a car during the holiday. When you come back, you can buy European goods and French wines in the port of Calais and bring them back to Britain to enjoy, which has become one of the things you must do when you drive to France for a holiday.
Portugal
Portugal is also one of the most popular summer resorts in Britain, especially in the southernmost places such as Algavi, Lisbon and Porto.
Algavi in the south is famous for its beautiful coast facing the Atlantic Ocean. Summer is cooler than Mediterranean resorts, with fewer tourists and more leisure time.
Algavi's beautiful and amazing beaches are the biggest attraction. There are 150 beaches for you to choose from. Some places are isolated from the world, some are suitable for surfing, and some places can see limestone cliffs, blue waters and yellow golden beaches at the same time.
There are several small towns near the coastline, where you can clearly feel the leisurely life of the local people. Holidaymakers spend their time in cafes, bars and restaurants on the roadside, and there are pools and fountains for children to play in the square.

Italy
If you want to go to the Mediterranean for a holiday, the British with a relatively generous budget can choose Italy, where there are fewer group tours and the price is slightly higher.
There are many high-end resort hotels in Sardinia and Sicily, Italy, and many hotels have their own exclusive beaches to meet the needs of celebrities to maintain privacy.
In the Mediterranean islands or coastal towns, you can also see many private luxury yachts moored offshore, which are simply the sea castles of the rich, and the rich and celebrities on board can fully enjoy their holiday time without being disturbed.
Britons who don't go to the island can choose to go to the Amalfi coast and feel the stunning beauty of Italy's blue Mediterranean and coastal mountain cities.

Malta
Malta, located in the south of Italy, is a Mediterranean island country. It used to be a British colony, so the British have a soft spot for Malta.
Queen Elizabeth II lived in Malta for two years with her husband, the Duke of Edinburgh. Before she succeeded to the throne, the Duke of Edinburgh was stationed in Malta as a naval officer.
At that time, Princess Elizabeth had not yet succeeded to the throne, and she was sent overseas with her husband so that she could spend two years of quiet leisure time. Later, the Queen also mentioned her love for Malta many times.
When British people come to Malta for a holiday, they can enjoy the warm climate and beaches in the Mediterranean, but they feel that they are in Britain, where there are many British shops and the locals speak English, which is not available in other southern European countries.
Turkey, Cyprus
The British want to spend their holidays in the Mediterranean, and then go further to Turkey or Cyprus. There are many options for group tours here, and the price is relatively cheap, but the flight time is slightly longer.
In addition, seaside resorts in Turkey and Cyprus provide sunshine, beaches and wine for British holidaymakers.

Caribbean Sea
In British holiday advertisements, Caribbean islands are often described as paradise on earth, with several key words: tropical islands, beaches, coral reefs and private holiday villas. Several islands popular with the British include Antigua, Barbados and Dominica, as well as Jamaica, Cuba and the Bahamas.
Richard branson is a wealthy British entrepreneur. He owns a private holiday island, Neck Island, in the Caribbean, where celebrities and Hollywood stars often spend their holidays.
This year, Prince William of England and his family went to Mastic Island, a private island belonging to Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.
This isolated island has clear blue waters, white beaches and, most importantly, absolute privacy. There is no-fly zone on the island, and there are only 100 holiday villas on the island. Members of the royal family don't have to worry about paparazzi and fans when they come here for vacation.

Florida
A little farther from the Caribbean is Florida, the sunshine state of the United States, and one of the favorite holiday resorts of the British. Orlando, Florida is known as the theme park capital, with Disneyland, Universal Studios and the wizarding world of Harry Potter. It is the favorite of British families with children. A little further south, you will arrive in Miami full of Latin customs. There are all kinds of water activities, fashionable men and women, shops, bars and restaurants, and colorful nightlife at night.
