Seven, scenic spot recommendation

Ye Cui Fang Shan

Built in Qing Dynasty, rebuilt on 1947, and rebuilt on 1994. This is a study room in the college. Late green generally refers to the bright green of trees in winter or the green scenery at sunset. Here, these two meanings are combined. Because this building is located outside the corridor on the west side of the central axis of the main building of the academy, it is closer to the meaning of the next floor. The mountain house originally refers to the house in the mountain, and here refers to the quiet place to study. This building is the roof of three rolling sheds. Hanging inside is the plaque of "Late Cuishan House" inscribed by the previous generation. Another hanging column couplet reads: "The tea is ripe and the wine is fragrant, and the moon is bright and the wind is clear."

East-west corridor

It was built in the Ming Dynasty. This is a common combination form of the ancient "corridor system" in China. In other words, the two sides of the axis of the main building of the lecture hall of the academy are connected by a long corridor, which makes the hall communicate with the indoor and outdoor, which is very convenient to open and close in the morning, and the rain comes and goes. At the same time, the spatial combination of each courtyard is naturally changeable, which plays a very good role in cultivating literati sentiment. This gallery was demolished by eunuchs in the fifth year of 1625 and rebuilt in the Kangxi period of Qing Dynasty. It was rebuilt in 36 years (1947). On the inner wall of the gallery, there are more than 20 inscriptions on the reconstruction of the academy since the Ming and Qing Dynasties. Among them are the original tablet of the famous "Stop the Cloud Pavilion" in Ming Dynasty and the inkstone of scholar Zou. It is a masterpiece of calligraphy in Ming Dynasty.

Xiaobianzhai

Founded in the thirty-third year of Wanli in the Ming Dynasty (1605), Gu Yuncheng studied and gave lectures in the city. In order to facilitate Lin Dong to give lectures, Gu Xiancheng Brothers College was built in the second year after the completion of Zhongxiong Gu Zicheng in Gu Xiancheng. In the same year as Gu Yuncheng, Tang Xianzu, a famous dramatist in the Ming Dynasty, wrote a book "Fasting", saying that "taking nicknames as fasting, nicknames as the biggest, and several big names as fasting".

Shiyuzhai

Located on the right side of Yiyong Hall. In the second year of Qingganlong (1737), it was built by Wang Yunqian, the magistrate of Jingui County. In the fourth year of Yongzheng in Qing Dynasty (1726), the east of Wuxi County was defined as Jingui County. The following year, after Wang Yunqian took office, he built this temple as a resting place for rural and urban literati. This is the place where officials of the Qing Dynasty attended classes, marking the beginning of the Qing Dynasty.

Wuxi has respected teachers and attached importance to education since ancient times, and the trend of reading has become a common practice. The plaque hanging in the main hall is a replica of the original plaque in front of the Confucius Temple in Wuxi. The original plaque is now in Wuxi Museum. On the plaque, all the memorials are outstanding in Wuxi's past scientific research. Wuxi has five champions, three vice champions, six flower pickers and more than 600 scholars. The beautiful talk of "one list of nine children" and "six subjects and three solutions" has spread to this day. Lin Xianxian, Gu Xiancheng, Gao Panlong and Ye Maocai are all among them.
