Buriram is a province in Thailand.
The name Changwat Buriram means "City of Happiness" and is located in the northeast of Thailand, adjacent to Cambodia. It has a population of 1.5949 million and governs 23 counties (districts). The total area is 10,393.95 square kilometers, including 5,996.12 square kilometers of agricultural planting area and 3,595.00 square kilometers of forest area.
Buriram Province is divided into three seasons a year, namely hot season (February to May), rainy season (June to September) and cool season (October to January). The average maximum temperature is about 36.4°C, and the average minimum temperature is about 19.5°C. The annual rainfall is about 1128 mm.

Buriram Province is located at the southernmost tip of the Nakhon Ratchasima Plateau, with a mountainous area to the south. The palace was once controlled by the Khmer Empire in history, and there are many Khmer historical sites. About 27.6% of the population in the province still speak North Khmer in daily life. Buriram Province's economy is still dominated by agriculture, and the tourism industry has development potential. It is famous for its extinct volcanoes, Hindu temples, beautiful Thai silk and profound cultural heritage.
Buriram is also a famous sports and leisure province in northeastern Thailand. It is home to Buriram United, which has won the Thai Football Super League championship for consecutive years, and has Thailand's first F1 (Formula One) racing track. There are 10 natural landscapes, 26 historical sites and 22 cultural tourist attractions in the whole province.
Buri Ram is 410 kilometers away from Bangkok. Buriram is closely connected to nearby provinces by highways, and there are road transportation lines to and from Bangkok, Ubon Ratchathani, Khon Kaen, Chanthaburi, Pattaya City, Chiang Mai and other provinces. There are 26 trains passing through Buriram every day. Thai AirAsia and Bird Air have launched commercial air services from Bangkok to Buriram.
