What documents do I need to apply for when traveling to Taiwan?

2 certificates and 1 visa. One is a pass, one is a Taiwan entry permit, and the other is a personal visa (G visa).

When applying, remember to say it is an independent travel, so the signature is a personal visa (G visa). However, it is different from the Hong Kong and Macau Pass, which is valid for one year. The G visa of the Pass is only valid for half a year, so don’t apply too early.

The pass is valid for 5 years, and the personal travel endorsement is valid for 6 months. The holder's stay shall not exceed 15 days from the next day of entry.

『Taiwan Entry Permit』:

After we have applied for the "Taiwan Entry Permit" here, the next step is to apply for the "Taiwan Entry Permit" over there. This is relatively complicated and needs to be provided. There is a lot of information, and it can only be processed through designated travel agencies.

5. Scanned copy of mainland resident travel pass (must be valid for more than 6 months)

6. Provide An immediate relative who came to Taiwan from a different country will be used as the emergency contact person. His or her relationship certificate form, ID card, and scanned copy of the household registration book (if they are a couple, they can provide a copy of their wedding photo; if they are parents, they can provide their birth certificate or certificate issued by the police station. )

1. Only one certificate of any kind is required for a couple or a whole family traveling together, but a marriage certificate is required
