Introduction to travel years

"Travel Years" was created by Franz Liszt, a Hungarian composer, pianist, conductor and music activist. He is one of the main representatives of romantic music and is known as " King of Piano". This famous piano collection was composed after he eloped to Geneva with the beautiful, humorous and intelligent Duchess Marie Dacourt. This collection of piano music is divided into three volumes, "Swiss Travel Notes" (9 pieces), "Italian Travel Notes" (10 pieces) and the supplement "The Third Year" (6 pieces).
