Lebagou Rock Paintings

The entrance to Lebagou is the Princess Wencheng Temple, a historical and cultural site. Mani stones engraved with the Six-Character Sutra and other scriptures can be seen everywhere. Some are exposed under the sun, some are soaked in the trickling water, and some are hidden among the green grass and leaves, forming an amazing cultural landscape of giant rocks. The rock paintings have a strong Buddhist plastic art style of the Tang Dynasty. Judging from the plump Tang Dynasty maids and ancient Tibetan inscriptions on the rock carvings, the creation of Lebagou rock paintings can be traced back to 1,300 years ago.

Tongtian River Prayer Platform

The Tongtian River flows from northwest to southeast on the Yushu Grassland, spanning nearly a thousand kilometers, nurturing all things in the Yushu Grassland. It is located on the south bank of the Tongtian River Bridge. A huge rock with several ancient cypresses next to it, and the trees were covered with sutra cloths. It is named because it is said that Tang Monk was here to post Buddhist scriptures.

The birthplace of the Yellow River

Qumalai County is the birthplace of the Yellow River. The Yellow River in Qinghai is called "Maqu" in Tibetan, which means Peacock River. Its main source originates from Maqu. The northern foothills of Kariqu in the Bayan Har Mountains in the southwest of Duoxiang and the southwest corner of the Yuegu Zonglie Basin. Longitude 92°56' North latitude 35°40', Yueguzongliequ originates from a mountain spring at the northern foot of Yueguzonglie Mountain. It flows southeast through the Xingxiu Sea and is called Maqu. The drainage area within the territory is 3194 square kilometers, with a total length of 112.7 kilometers. The source of the Yellow River has towering mountains and vast grasslands. It is one of the main water resources of the Three Rivers Source and plays an important ecological role in China and the world.
