Hong Kong Polytechnic University PhD application requirements and tuition fees:

Academic requirements:

Possess a master's degree from a regular university; or hold a master's degree awarded by a regular university Bachelor's degree and first or second class honors degree (separate examinations may be required).

English requirements:

IELTS: 6.5 or above.

TOEFL: 80 points or above (Internet test), 550 points or above (written test).

Note: All English test scores are valid for two years after the test.

Application materials:

Undergraduate and master’s degree certificates and transcripts.

Language test score report.

Research plan.

Other documents that can prove the student’s research ability.

Provide your current email address in your online application, submit the application and pay the application fee online before the deadline. If these documents are not in English, you must provide officially translated English documents.

If you have not yet graduated and are unable to provide proof of final grades when submitting your online application, please update the relevant sections of the online application form and upload the documents after receiving your latest grades.

Tuition fee is: at least HKD 84,200.
