1, Qinghai Lake

The largest inland saltwater lake in China, with an area of 4,573 square kilometers and an altitude of 3,260 meters, is twice the peak of Mount Tai. The deepest part of the lake is 32 meters. There are Bird Island (Haixi Mountain, Haixin Mountain and Haixipi), Sanhuai Stone and Sand Island in the lake. It can be visited by tourists.

Chen Yunhe's poem "Qinghai Lake" describes that "the majestic trace of the inland is never seen, and it has entered the eyes of the sun, the moon and the mountains, and it belongs to a majestic atmosphere with water and sky". Bird Island is located in the west of Qinghai Lake, with an area of about 1 km2. Every spring, about 654.38+million migratory birds from southern China, Southeast Asia and Indian Peninsula thrive here, which is spectacular, and its colony breeding density is rare in Asia.

2. Mengda Forest Region

In Xunhua Salar Autonomous County, it is a national nature reserve. In the forest area, ancient trees are towering, grass is knee-high, mountain flowers are blooming, birds are singing and flowers are fragrant, and streams are gurgling. There are more than 540 kinds of tropical, subtropical and temperate plants in the growing society, which is called "Xishuangbanna in Qinghai Plateau". Located in the "Tianchi" surrounded by mountains, it covers an area of 20 hectares, with beautiful scenery and pleasant climate.

3. Ta 'er Temple

Lushaer town, located in Huangzhong District, 27 kilometers southwest of Xining, the provincial capital, is one of the six monasteries of Gelug Sect of Tibetan Buddhism and the birthplace of Zong Kaba, the founder of Yellow Sect. It was built in the thirty-ninth year of Jiajing in the Ming Dynasty and has a history of more than 400 years. The incense reached its peak and had a far-reaching impact.

The architectural pattern of the whole temple is unique, consisting of many independent pagodas, temples, prayer halls and monasteries. It is a combination of Tibetan and Han architecture, covering an area of more than 40 hectares. Dajinwa Hall, Xiaojinwa Hall and Dajingtang are resplendent and famous. Butter carving, pile embroidery and murals are known as the "three wonders" of Ta 'er Temple.

4. Sanjiangyuan

The Yangtze River, the Yellow River and the Lancang River originated here, which nurtured and nourished Chinese civilization. Qinghai Sanjiangyuan is called "China Water Tower". The scenery at the source of the Yangtze River is very beautiful, with ice towers of tens of meters towering into the sky and stretching for dozens of miles. A crystal peak in Wan Ru has different shapes. The headwaters of the Yellow River have pleasant scenery, rich aquatic plants and spectacular lakes and streams.

The upper reaches of the Yellow River are suitable for adventure and rafting because of its large drop and rapid current. The source of the river is a resort for exploration and investigation, where you will appreciate the exposure of nature and mysterious enzymes.

5. Chaka Salt Lake

Located in Chaka Town, Wulan County, Qinghai Province, the Mongolian language is "Dabsunnaoer", which is the main salt producing area in Qinghai Province. Different from other salt lakes in China, Chaka Salt Lake is a brine lake with solid and liquid coexistence, embedded in snow-capped mountains and grasslands, rather than Gobi desert.

The salt lake has vast waters and silver waves. Walking on the lake is like entering the world of salt. Since the development of 1980, Chaka Salt Lake Scenic Area has developed into a new 3A-level scenic spot with both eco-tourism and industrial tourism.
