Where is Lianyungang suitable for cycling?

The heat is over, the climate in summer is gradually declining, and autumn is coming. The temperature in autumn is comfortable, which is a very suitable season for riding. You can not only visit the surrounding scenery, but also exercise. So what are the good places to ride in Lianyungang?

Cycling recommendation

Lianyungang will build bicycle lanes featuring waterfront, riverside, mountains, islands and wetlands. At present, the "high-value" bicycle lane 160 km has been built in the urban area, which is divided into three categories: leisure, sports and competition, and a bicycle lane sports network of "one bay, one ring, two belts and twelve districts" has been put forward.

"One Bay", namely Haizhou Bay, relies on 126 km long Binhai Avenue to build a coastal bicycle lane with sports, leisure and racing functions;

"One Ring Road" is a road around Yuntai Mountain, which focuses on sports function and takes into account the function of events.

"Two belts" include leisure belts and sports belts. The leisure belt starts from the Daigu River, goes down the Donghe River, enters the seaway and ends at Shengli Lake, forming a leisure green corridor. The sports belt starts from Queyangmen, along Xingfu Road, Rose River, Lin Hong Wetland, Haibin Avenue and West Embankment, and ends at Julian Island, creating an idyllic waterfront bicycle lane.

Relying on the existing and under-construction parks and scenic roads, the "Twelve Districts" have formed bicycle lanes around the city, such as Shengli Lake, Crescent Island, Liuzhizhou Mountain Sports Park and Huaguoshan Wukong Avenue.

The bicycle lane of Xingfu Road, which starts from Guayangmen in Haizhou, is integrated with the style of the ancient city. Bicycle lanes on both sides of Donghe River start from Haining East Road in the south and reach the intersection of Gangcheng Avenue and Songhua River Road in the north, with a total length of about 30.7 kilometers, connecting citizens for leisure sports and sightseeing. The construction of the 5.5km mountain bike track in Liuzhishan Sports Park was completed, and regional sports events were successfully held. With the progress of the ecological corridor project of Daigu River in Haizhou, the 7.8 km bicycle lane under this tree-lined section is gradually connected.
