Do children need a visa to go to Macau?
Mainland residents do not need a visa to go to Macao, but they need to apply for a pass to and from Hong Kong and Macao. The Travel Pass to and from Hong Kong and Macao is a travel document issued to China mainland residents for private travel to and from Hong Kong or Macao, visiting relatives, engaging in business, training, employment, studying abroad and other non-official activities. If the parties have the following matters, they can apply for a short-term trip to Macao: 1. Having close relatives who have settled in Macao to visit; 2. Immediate relatives or close relatives are compatriots in Taiwan Province Province, and mainland relatives will go to Macau to meet their relatives; 3. The immediate family members of returned overseas Chinese, brothers and sisters and the immediate family members of overseas Chinese can't go back to the mainland to visit relatives, but go to Macao to meet; 4. Go to Macao to handle the industry; 5. Other circumstances.
Legal objectivity:
Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) on Exit and Entry Administration Article 10 Citizens of China who travel between the Mainland and the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and the Macao Special Administrative Region, and citizens of China who travel between the Mainland and Taiwan Province Province shall apply for a permit according to law and abide by the relevant provisions of this Law. Specific management measures shall be formulated by the State Council. Article 11 of the Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) on Exit and Entry Administration, China citizens leaving or entering the country shall submit their passports or other travel documents and other exit and entry documents to the entry-exit frontier inspection authorities, and shall go through the prescribed procedures before leaving or entering the country. At qualified ports, the entry-exit frontier inspection organs shall provide special passages and other convenient measures for China citizens to enter and leave the country.
