Introduction to Fuzhou River

The old name was Shahe, and it was renamed Fuzhou River in the Qing Dynasty. It is the second largest river in Dalian City. Originating from the west foot of Dongdading in the north of Xinjin County, it is called Sigou River. It flows south to Qidaofang and accumulates into Qidaofang Reservoir. Then it flows west to receive Chagou River and Wanggou River from the north. The water volume increases greatly, and it is called Fuzhou River when it reaches Tongyi Township.
