The scenic spot honor of Huangzangyu National Forest Park

In 1982, it was approved by the Anhui Provincial Government as a warm temperate deciduous broad-leaved forest ecological nature reserve.

In 1987, it was approved as one of the first 21 scenic spots in Anhui Province.

In 1992, it was approved as a national forest park by the Ministry of Forestry.

In 2007, the National Cultural Relics Protection Committee awarded the title of China’s historical and cultural heritage.

In October 2008, it officially passed the national 4A-level scenic spot review conducted by experts organized by the National Tourism Administration.

In 2010, it was jointly recognized by the National Tourism Administration and the State Forestry Administration as having the largest ancient tree community in the country.

In August 2014, it won the title of the first batch of forest tourism demonstration scenic spots in Anhui Province.

On September 26, 2014, it was listed as a candidate for the creation of six national 5A-level scenic spots in Anhui Province.

In October 2014, Huangzangyu Scenic Area was awarded the national photography creation base.

In 2014, the Huangzangyu Scenic Area was awarded the title of "The Most Potential Tourism and Vacation Destination" in the country at the International Tourism and Vacation Destinations Forum.

In 2015, Huangzangyu tourist attraction became a member unit of the Self-driving Tour and Camping Branch of the Anhui Provincial Tourism Association.
