Shanghai Introduction to wildlife park attractions:

Shanghai Wildlife Park is China's first national wildlife park jointly built by the Shanghai Municipal People's Government and the State Forestry Administration. It is located in Sanzao Town, Nanhui County, Pudong, Shanghai, covering an area of ??153 hectares ( 2,300 acres), about 35 kilometers away from the center of Shanghai. With an investment of 300 million yuan, the park was officially opened to the public on November 18, 1995. It is one of the first batch of AAAA tourist attractions in the country.

The park brings together more than 200 species of representative and rare animals from all over the world, with more than 10,000 animals, including giraffes, zebras, antelopes, white rhinos, etc. from abroad, as well as my country’s specialty first-class protected animals include giant pandas, golden monkeys, and South China tigers.

When tourists visit the park, they enter and walk into two major visiting areas.

In the drive-in area, you can see the gentlemanly giraffe stretching its neck, looking forward to the arrival of tourists; you can watch the largest mammal on land - the elephant, gently walking around Pay tribute to tourists; you can also see the golden takin, one of my country's three national treasures, gathered around you. The fastest animal in the world lives here - the cheetah, which can reach a speed of more than 110 kilometers; the king of beasts The African lion shows its general demeanor when hunting; the "three heroes" of clumsy, flexible and cunning animals - bears, monkeys and foxes, each perform their own unique skills and compete to beg for food from passing vehicles; the mighty tiger watches the passers-by. Vehicles, showing their kingly style

In the pedestrian area, you can see white lions, white tigers, white kangaroos, giant pandas, alligators and other rare animals in the world; llamas, camels, zebras, elephants and other animals and Take a photo with you for a surprising experience, a rare opportunity; go to the small animal paradise, hug small animals, feed pet monkeys, become a breeder yourself, and witness with your own eyes the cuteness and wonder of passing on the family lineage in the animal world.

In the animal performance hall, you can watch the large-scale square art performance between humans and animals, which is brilliant; the large-scale animal taming performance is thrilling; and the sea lion performance in the sea lion performance hall will bring you association and surprise.

The herbivore area - the herbivore breeding area covers an area of ??21 hectares, which is the largest area in the vehicle-entry area. This area simulates the grass, hills, forests, lakes and other living environments where animals live, and has an elephant room, a rhinoceros house, etc. There are many kinds of free-range animals with huge populations, including national first-level protected animals such as elk, takin, and Asian elephants. African animals - After my country established diplomatic relations with South Africa on October 6, 1998, we welcomed a group of special guests - South African wildlife. This batch of 150 animals of 9 species arrived in Shanghai, China, on a special plane. Among them were 34 giraffes, and the rest were 2 white rhinos, 2 eland, 30 white-spotted oryx, 25 springbok, and 19 blue wildebeest. There are 10 black wildebeests, 4 South African sea lions and 24 longhorn antelopes. Lion Area - The third exhibition area after entering the vehicle entry area. This area is home to a group of ferocious carnivores, African lions, on the African grasslands. They live in groups of multiple males and females. The African lion is the largest member of the carnivore order and the cat family. The male lion is strong and has mane hair from head to neck, while the female lion is smaller. Cheetah Zone – The second area of ??the drive-in area. The ecological environment is similar to the tropical and semi-desert grasslands of Africa, and is home to a group of cheetahs from Africa, forming the largest cheetah group in the country.

Adult cheetahs are slender compared to other carnivorous beasts, but cheetahs can become the sprint champions of the animal world at speeds of 80-113 kilometers per hour. Tiger Zone - is the fifth exhibition area in the vehicle entry area. Siberian tigers and South China tigers are raised separately. Adopting a cold temperate mixed coniferous and broad-leaved forest planting structure and a subtropical broad-leaved forest structure to simulate natural living conditions, green planting provides basic conditions for the ex-situ protection of tigers. Tigers are not very good at climbing, but they are good at swimming and like to take baths. Whenever the tour bus passes by, the tigers wait for live food to be fed, and then quickly launch a surprise attack. Bear Area - The bear area is vast, covering an area of ??5 hectares, with tall bear hills and roosts. There are three species of pandas, including brown bears, black bears, and sun bears, as well as macaques and foxes. In the bear zone, the clumsiness of the bear, the agility of the monkey and the alertness of the fox are in sharp contrast. Pandas have sensitive senses of smell and hearing, but poor vision. When the tour bus enters, macaques and bears will surround both sides of the driveway, begging for food from tourists. The scene is very interesting.
